Leaving
Halb was at the top of Pride Rock, thinking. She liked that place, but there was a time when she had to leave. And this time would be now.
She came down from up there and met her mother.
- What is it, daughter? - Her mother, Kiara asked.
- Nothing, just thinking ... thinking of leaving.
- But you are very new, and... and...
- I'll be fine, mom.
Kiara smiled and nuzzled her daughter.
- I'll miss you, Halb.
- I will miss you too.
And so she left.
