My You've Grown Up So Much..
Meeko stayed in the den for quite along time, she barely went out to hunt and barely went out for food. Her father managed to bring her food when he was outside and Kotara didn't find her as much of a threat anymore that she was upset enough not to come out.
One night Meeko couldn't seem to go to sleep so she got up and stepped outside. She looked out into the savanah and sighed" So much for trusting him..I can't believe he would do such a thing..?!" She sat down trying to get over how mad she was when she heard footsteps from behind her. She growled" Kotara or Fahamu if thats either of you i want you to leave before i get angry.."
Sinabi huffed" Is that anyway to speak to me young lady.." Meeko's ears perked up and she looked over seeing her mother. She felt many things at once fear, happiness and even abit uneasy. She got up staring at her mother" Mom..is that really you.." She took a step closer and Sinabi smiled" Who else would it be.." Meeko smiled and ran over to her nuzzling her" I missed you so much.." Sinabi smiled and nuzzled her daughter back" I've missed you too.. and you've grown so much.." Meeko stopped for a moment" Wait a minute.. why did you come here.. not that im not happy to see you mother but who..how and why..?"
Sinabi backed up alittle and stared at her" Me and your brother Ahadi were hunting at the time when a strange dark lion came up to us, he said he made a terrible mistake and wanted to make it right.." She looked down" He told me what happened and what he had done and wanted to do anything to make things better.." Meeko's ears lowered and she felt anger once again" Fahamu sent you to make me forgive him.." Sinabi chuckled and shook her head" No he sent me yes.. but not to get you to forgive him but to see you happy again..he said he hated seeing you so upset and he thought seeing me would make you feel alittle better.."
Meeko looked down although she was mad at Fahamu she couldn't help but admit it was nice of him to do this for her to bring her mother back just to make her happy. Meeko wasn't sure what to do now she was so confused. Sinabi saw this and nuzzled her daughter again" Meeko..im not asking you to forgive him.. but maybe you should talk to him about this about why he did what he did.. he exsplained to me.. and i feel abit bad for him but at the same time he wanted to make things right."
Meeko looked at her" What did he tell you..?" Sinabi's ears lowered abit" Im not the one who should be discussing this.. you should go see him.. now while you do that im going to go see Fisadi..i've missed him.." And with that her mother went into the den leaving Meeko alone with her thoughts.
