''Zira... Kopa... Fight... I couldn't... I'm sorry...'' Alli stuttered, still breathing hard.

''What happened... to me son?'' Simba growled.

''There was a fight. Between Zira and Kopa-'' Alli spoke so quickly, as though it would make the story hurt her brother less.

Alli heard Nala gasp behind her and dash into the den before breaking into a dreadful wail of grief.
