But why brother?

But why brother?

'But, why, brother? He's no danger to the pride..' the smaller cub frowned, shaking his head.

'Don't you get it, Mansa? He's one of them! He's an outsider! He was brought up by Zira..you can't trust him! You can never trust outsiders!' Babar growled angrily before turning to the cub before him, 'I suggest you go back to where you came from. You aren't welcome here- and if you come back, I'll make sure you wish you were back in the Outlands. You aren't welcome here. Leave.'

Mansa could only watch as his new friend turned and left. What could he do? His brother wouldn't reconsider, even if he was the future king, Mansa couldn't change his brother's mind.

Yep, Babar (the larger cub) never liked Khalfani to begin with. He's a skeptic when it comes to newcomers.

Babar's had enough of Khalfani and 'exiles' him so that he can't come back to Pride Rock, but Mansa (smaller cub) doesn't want his friend to leave. He sees nothing wrong with Khalfani, but later on, he realizes that his big brother was right.

Yeah, I know there's a HUGE size difference between the two, and GIMP wouldn't let me change that, but I think it makes sense. Babar is the oldest cub and is, therefore, the strongest and largest. Mansa is the youngest and will be smaller and weaker. They were born some time apart because of the twins, Saka and Paka.

I didn't want Babar to be a clone of Kopa, but I did want him to be golden like his father. Overall, I'm really proud with how this came out and I hope you all like this image. It's my first time using three images in one.
