Haya/Selfish - My Theory
Selfish is a nickname given to Mohatu's selfish brother Haya. Jambazi is his father. Both males had equal attention, but times changed. When Jambazi came trough the Pridelands, they started living there. One of his sons should be betrothed to Princess Amira. Haya liked the lioness very much, but Amira loved Mohatu. Mohatu tried to ignore his feelings because he didn't want to hurt his brother, but of course it failed. He became her mate, and Haya was furious. He attacked his father because he accepted the marriage. Jambazi was badly hurt and Mohatu banished his brother, his nickname was now the Selfish one. Selfish started living as a rogue.Years and years he survived, untill he came across a weak female rogue. Her name was Chaka. Selfisch offered his help, and hunted for her a few days. She felt better and started talking with Selfish, eventually falling in love with him. Selfish didn't like her, but took her as his mate. They mated and Zira was born. But Selfish revealed his true plan. He wanted to use Zira's strenght to kill the whole royal family as revenge. Chaka became scared and ran away with her daughter, to the Pridelands. Selfish didn't care, and travelled further. A wild strong lioness came across his path. She had ran away from her pride because they forced her to marry someone. Selfish spended also a lot of time with her, hoping he would get a cub again. And he did, he got a son now, Jamali. The lioness, Zakia wanted Jamali as the prince for her pride, but Selfish had other plans. He got rid of the lioness, and learned Jamali fighting untill he was an teenager. He knew Jamali would let the royal family pay, and with that thought, he slowly became weaker untill he eventually died.
