''This cub of yours is no cub of mine!''

Mya was laying inside the den of Pride Rock when her mother entered the mouth of the cave.

Mya smiled to her mother and trotted over to her, in hopes of having a decent meal.

Sarabi frowned when she saw the look of expectation on her daughters' face. The hunting party had just returned from their morning hunt with no luck. And Sarabi had to once again deny her daughter food.

''I'm sorry, dear, but we couldn't catch anything..''

Mya frowned when she heard her mothers sad words.

Sarabi hated seeing her daughter without food, and she knew it was time to take a stand.

She snarled a bit in frustration but then told her daughter, ''Come with me, dear.." And she lead her outside the cave.

Just as they were exiting the cave, Scar - the dictator, was walking by. As Scar walked by, Sarabi called out, ''Scar!''

Scar rolled his eyes dramatically and then turned to the lioness who had called his name, and to his amusement, it was Sarabi, ''What is it, Sarabi? Did you bring back any food?!'' he hissed.

Sarabi's eyebrows narrowed as she snapped back, ''That's actually what I was going to talk to you about! The herds are moving on, they are relocating outside the Pridelands! We have no game to hunt!''

Scar snarled to Sarabi's words and he warned, ''Then you find other game!''

Sarabi barked, ''There is no more prey!''

Scar huffed, ''You're just being naive!''

Sarabi looked down to her daughter, who was now sitting in between her front paws, watching as her parents argued.

Sarabi then added, ''Scar, there is nothing left.. Our daughter will starve!''

Scar roared and ran up to Sarabi, his teeth fully snarled and his eyes full of rage, ''You must be mad! This cub of yours is no cub of mine!''

Sarabi roared, ''Have you gone out of your mind?!''

Scar's eyebrows met as he gave her a warning glare, ''If you dare call that pathetic excuse for a life, my cub again, I will terminate her!''

Sarabi gasped and her snarl faded. She couldn't believe what she had just heard the evil ruler say. She couldn't believe he had gone that low.

Mya watched as her father denied her as his daughter, and her eyes couldn't help but fill with tears.

Scar chuckled a bit under his breath and he trotted away.

Sarabi just watching him leave with disbelief.

Sarabi used her front paw to push Mya into her other leg, giving her a support to cry on. Mya began weeping into Sarabi's leg.

Sarabi shushed her daughter softly and then said, ''It's alright, dear.. You don't need a father like him anyways..''.

Mya nodded in between sobs, and Sarabi just looked back up to where Scar once stood before her.

She just couldn't believe that Scar would treat his own cub like such dirt.. Ever since Mya was born a female, he refused to have any part of her.

Ever since Zira birthed Nuka, and Scar and Zira adopted Ryker, Scar wanted nothing to do with Sarabi or Mya.

Sarabi was growing tired of it.

//He forced me to bare his cub.. and now that I've given birth to a beautiful cub, he refuses to have to do with her.. He is the worst kind of soul...//

Sarabi shook her head, and leaded her cub back inside the den.
