What if - Kopa X Kiara?

Wait! WAIT! DON'T SHOOT! I CAN EXPLAIN! lol only joking. But yeah, this is a what if. WHAT IF! NOT REAL, WHAT IF! But for everyone else who is prepared to listen to what I have to say, then sit down and I will explain.
So, I was really bored one day and came across this base on DA. For some reason I thought of Kopa and Kiara at once. Then I got the idea of Kopa X Kiara. Once I have an idea it has to be put through or I go crazy. So, I created this image. Now that I have explained to you how the idea happened, I will explain why it might work.
The film says that Kiara is Simba and Nala's daughter. The books say that Kopa is Simba and Nala's son. But does he have to be her brother? Kopa could have been adopted and Kiara's original betrothed. The same could be said for Kiara, she could have just been an adopted child and betrothed to Kopa. When Kopa was killed/ran away/whatever you think happened to him, Kiara was crowned next in line for the thrown anyway, and the betrothed was forgotten. If Kiara was adopted then Simba and Nala have just lost a son. But hold on. They still have a daughter, right? Adopted or not, she is still their daughter. Thus being crowned next in line for the throne.
Then as an adult Kopa returns and meets Kiara. They end up falling in love, and Kovu (poor guy) is forgotten. Because one would be adopted, it lets them become mates without any problems.
