As long as you're safe
Chaka walks Akila back to Pride Rock as the sun is about to rise.
"I am sorry about your father," Chaka mentions. Akila takes a moment to think about her whole life. Her life as a rogue when she never knew what she was missing out on. The Pride Landers were more like a family to her than her own father.
"That's OK....he was my father but.... Chaka you saved me and fought my own father because....you love me.... As long as you are safe and with me then.... the rest of the world doesn't matter I guess," Akila tries to choke out.
"Are you trying to say what I think you're saying?" Chaka asks, hopefully.
"I really do like you," Akila says looking into Chaka;s eyes. The two nuzzle as Chaka whispers, "Stay with me....forever."
Akila purrs happily.
