What if we had met sooner..?
This is my idea on what would happen if Kendi and Zuna met when they were cubs XD here we go.
Kendi was tired of listening to his fathers rants about the pride he just wanted to get some fresh air and be alone if atleast for alittle while. He soon made it far from pride rock but still remained in the pride lands when he heard a call for help." Help please.. Help me im stuck!?" Kendi fallowed the sound and found a rather large hole and he looked inside and saw a pair of light green teary eyes staring back at him" Hello..are you okay" He called. She sniffled and whimpered gently" No im stuck i fell in this hole while running away from home and now i can't get out.." Kendi felt bad and his father always said to help out others who needed it." I'll help you then here give me your paw" He stuck his paw inside the hole reaching for her and in a second another paw grabbed his and he helped her up and soon the other cub came out of the hole. She looked like Zira but darker. She smiled at him" Thank you for saving me" Kendi blushed lightly and shook it off" Um your welcome my name is Kendi whats yours..?" Zuna smiled" My name is Zuna.." Kendi looked at her and chuckled" Well Zuna why did you fall in that hole.." Zuna's ears lowered abit" I was running away from home because i thought my mother didn't love me anymore.." Kendi stared at her like she was crazy" I Don't see how a parent can hate there child.." He tilted his head" Besides you look nice to me.." She blushed abit and smiled at him before tackling him. Kendi grunted gently and looked at her" Your pretty strong for a girl .." Zuna licked his cheek causing Kendi to blush again" Thank you Kendi i won't forget you.." She jumped over him and ran off into the tall grass. Kendi got up and looked in the direction she went in" Wow.. who was she and why did she head back towards the outlands.." He shrugged it off and turned around heading back home.
