Awkward Conversations

Mchumba had always dreamed of living in a pride, surrounded with friends and loved ones, but it seems her dream was quite different from reality. Though Kiara and Kovu had been nice enough, that didn't make Mchumba an expert at making friends. She tried joining conversations, but always seemed to miss a beat, and seeing how everyone already had friend groups and relationships often made her feel left out. Her hopes of a warm, loving home with close friends seemed almost impossible.

Except for one particular tall, dark, and rather snippy lion she'd gotten to know. Struggling with making friends, Mchumba decided to start with Scarabir first, even if he was prickly and sarcastic. It was gonna take a while to make friends, but Scarabir seemed like a good start.

The next installment in my Scarabir and Mchumba series! Mchumba is eager to make friends, she just doesn't know how, so her first real friend outside of her family is Scarabir, even if he wasn't so keen on the idea at first. Though he may seem grumpy, he does enjoy their chats, and can't help but hope she asks to spend more time with him.
