''I'm learning from the best!''
It was nearly sun-down, and the savannah was finally putting itself to rest.
Birds were flying to their nests, gazelle were relocating to find safety from the creatures of the night. And the Tyba Pride was getting ready to cozy up in their den and sleep the night through.
Everything in the Tyba Pridelands was peaceful. That is.. everything except Mia's mind.
Mia was really upset because her brother hasn't been playing with her as much as he used to. She felt neglected by her brother. She just wanted someone to talk to, and since all the other cubs in the pride were already heading to bed, Mia had no other choice -- her mother.
Mia slowly walked over to her mother and let out a deep sigh.
The mother, who just began to lay down, lifted her head and looked to her daughter, ''What is wrong, my dear?''.
Mia looked to the ground, upset. She didn't want to admit what was wrong with her. She felt silly.
Mia's mother could tell something was bugging her daughter, so she urged, ''Come on, sweetie. You know you can tell me..''. She then nudged her daughter with her nose gently.
Mia giggled and licked her mother's nose. She loved how open her mom was. She felt really safe around her mom. But still, she hesitated, ''Promise you won't make fun of me?''.
Mia's mother giggled and licked her daughters cheek lovingly, ''Of course I won't make fun of you.. I'm your mother!''.
Mia nodded, ''Okay, Mommy.. It's just..''. Mia sighed before continuing, ''I just feel like Cziw doesn't have time to be my friend anymore..''.
Mia's mother tilted her head and said softly, ''Your brother loves you, Mia..''.
Mia whined, ''I know he 'loves' me.. But he never wants to play with me anymore.. not since King Odin started taking him under his wing!''.
Mia's mother looked concerned to her daughter, she now understood that her daughter left out from her sons life. Mia's mom extended her arms and then pulled her daughter in close. She was now cradling her daughter in her front paws. She began licking her daughter, giving her a gentle bath.
Mia smiled and began to purr softly. She loved when her mother gave her baths. It made her feel really connected to her mom, and really secure. Mia almost forgot about her problems when her mother said;
''Sweetie, you just gotta understand, that as a boy.. Cziw has different responsibilities..''.
Mia argued, ''But King Odin is treating Cziw like a prince.. Why? He's not even a prince!''
Mia's mom replied, ''It would be different if Sinceri were born a male, dear.. But Sinceri is a female.. Males are more dominant. They can take on rogues, and fight off challengers of the thrown.. Lionesses are not as sturdy..''. Mia's mom did not want to admit the truth, that King Odin was really just terrified for his own daughters life -- that he needed to train Cziw to be the royal body guard.
Mia's mother just began to lick her daughter soothingly again. Mia just sat and relaxed in her mothers arms. Really soaking in everything her mother just told her.
After a few minutes, Cziw walked up to his mother and sister and said happily, ''Hey guys!''.
Mia gasped and turned to her brother merrily and said, ''Hey, Cziw! How was training?!''
Cziw raised his head proud and bragged, ''Great, of course! I'm learning from the best!''.
Mia asked curiously, ''What did he teach you?!''.
Cziw thought a second before answering, ''Well, today... He just talked a lot about the 'Circle of Life'. And he explained the difference between hunting for fun, and hunting for food. He said that a true noble hunter doesn't hunt for fun - but just for food. He said if I learn how to balance everything out, than I'll be the greatest hunting party leader ever!''.
Mia stared at her brother in awe as she asked, ''Wow!! So you're going to be the leader of the hunting party?''.
Cziw nodded, ''Well, if I get good enough, King Odin says he thinks I can. And I KNOW I'm going to practice hard EVERYDAY so I can be!''. Cziw held his head high and then looked over to his mother.
Mia and Cziw's mother stopped grooming Mia, and smiled to her son. She said proudly, ''That's great son, I'm so happy you're excited to be a great hunter!''.
Cziw grinned and replied, ''King Odin said that great hunting runs in the family!''.
Cziw's mother giggled and said, ''Yes, our majesty is quite kind.''.
Cziw laughed with his mother, though he had no idea why. But he was exhausted, and was eager to go to bed. ''Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired, I'm going to bed!''. Cziw walked over to the side of his mother and pressed himself against his moms stomach. Trying to find comfort within her warmth.
Cziw's mother giggled and teased, ''Not-uh-uh! Not without a bath, first! All that training really gets you filthy!''.
Cziw tried to run, but it was no use. His mother grabbed him by the tuft of his neck, and laid him inbetween her arms. Right next to his sister, who was looking at him with a cheesy grin.
The mother smiled to her two cubs, who were now both in her arms. It reminded her of when they were first born, so small, so innocent.
She began purring when she started to bathe them both simultaneously.
As they were being bathed, the two cubs shared conversations about the future - about what they want out of life. Their dreams.
Mia realized that this was exactly what she needed --- and she couldn't thank her mother any more for helping her get her brother back.

But I don't know what to do!! Should I make her? If I do, then what?! I love her design and everything, and the fact that she's like two of my favorite characters mom is like too irresistible...
But I'm conflicted. ;-;
