Artemisa finds the twin brothers
--Thamani and his twin brother, Abasi, were born far away from Pride rock. Their parents died shortly after they were born, his mother during cub-birth, and their father of a hunting accident, distracted by his sadness over the loss of his mate, leaving the young cubs to fend for themselves. Soon they were found by a young female named Artemisa. Artemisa took them in as her own cubs--
In this Image:One day, Artemisa was out hunting with her friend Katie, and while searching for prey along the border, they walked passed a small cave in a rock formation just outside the territory, in a desert-like land that was a distant and unforgiving part of the out-lands that not even out-landers chose to live in, and heard mewing coming from inside and decided to investigate.
Artemisa: you stay here and keep watch, this is still the out-lands, even though no one occupies it.
Katie: You're right, i will keep watch.
Artemisa crept into the cave, wary of any possible dangers, and on-edge because of the scent of death that clung to the rock. Deep inside the cave, lit by a small hole in the roof, she found two tiny cubs, newborns by the looks of it, and quite hungry.
Artemisa: Oh you poor dears!- Thamani (sitting up) : Mew? Abasi (lying down): *sniffle*
Artemisa: don't worry little ones, i'll take care of you!
Artemisa picked up both cubs as best she could and carried them out to a waiting Katie, who upon seeing the cubs was very shocked.
Katie: oh my! cubs!
Artemisa:*sets down the cubs at her paws* yes, the poor dears parents must have died, the scent of death clung to the rock inside!
Katie: oh wow! what are you going to do with them?
Artemisa: i will raise them as my own and we'll tell no one any different. you know how accepting simba is of outsiders, he doesn't tolerate them ever since kopa died, and the outlanders were banished.
Katie: Yes you're right, alright, as long as i get to be aunty hehe
Artemisa: Haha of course!
Artemisa and Kaitie both pick up a cub and begin the journey back to pride rock.
