The Truth About Tanglemane
According to my theory, Tanglemane wasn't his birth name. He was born Tagháfali, the son of Ahadi and a rogue before he was married to Uru. Tagháfali's mother sadly passed on while he was still young, but he was adopted by the parents of a cub about his age. When he came of age, he and the cub, Lindiwe, left and became mates. They took over a small pride and had two children, Abeni, his daughter, and Emeka, his son, seen above. When the cubs were still infants, he was driven out by two marauding males (as mentioned in his story), and left to live in the jungle. Eventually, after meeting Simba, he went to a large valley named Silvervale, and took over the pride there, but treated the former ruler with kindness, not wanting to relive what happened to him. When his cubs were adolescents, they and their mother finally found him and they were reunited, and lived together until the end of their days.
