Arbella and Blade laid together in the middle of the savanna. They liked to get away from Pride Rock every once and awhile, just to be alone. Arbella enjoyed her time with her mate, she loved him to pieces. No one could make her laugh like he did.
Blade had just finished telling Arbella a silly story about something that happened long ago, and Arbella couldn't help but smile.
Blade looked to his bride lovingly, ''Your smile is gorgeous, Arbella. I could tell you jokes all day if it meant seeing you smile like that.''
Arbella blushed a light pink, and tried to hide her embarrassment by licking her mates cheek lovingly. After the soft kiss, she just looked deep into Blade's eyes. Just staring. She loved Blade's eyes, she could get lost in them - which she often did. She was just in a total bliss, her life seemed perfect. Arbella, without realizing it, was purring softly.
Blade, feeling the same towards Arbella, purred in harmony with her. He returned the loving look, and just admired his beautiful mate.
As the two love birds were in a trance, two small cubs ran up to the couple excitedly.
''Mommy! Daddy!'' They both called out at the same time.
Blade turned his head and looked to his two cubs, ''What's wrong..?'' He raised an eyebrow as he saw the excited looks painted on their faces.
Arbella giggled under her breath as she watched her son and daughter interact with her mate.
''We wanna play with you guys!'' said the son.
''Yeah! You guys should come play with us!'' agreed the daughter.
Blade chuckled out loud and then replied playfully, ''Okay, okay! Just give us a few minutes, alright?''
The daughter giggled happily, ''Okay! Let's play tag.. Do you wanna be it, daddy?''
Blade looked down to his bride, Arbella, as if she knew the answer.
Arbella smiled up to her mate, a soft hint of flirty attitude painting her eyes, ''Sounds good to me, daddy!''. Arbella got up and stretched briefly. Then she pretended to take off running, running just slow enough for her cubs to keep up with her easily.
The cubs followed their mother excitedly. Giggling like mad-men, adrenaline filling their bodies, causing them to run faster.
Blade smiled as he watched his loved ones take off running. He just sunk in the moment, the bliss.
Then he got up, and began to chase his family.
It was a perfect day...

Arbella and Blade weren't a couple for very long before the 'incident'.
But Arbella had been in love with Blade for a while - even if she didn't want to believe it.
One night, Arbella went to sleep and dreamed this - she woke up, and her heart broke. She wanted so much for it to be real. She wanted this life.
But sadly, a few short days later, Arbella was killed. :(
What do you think, Sarabi? Sorry I took the liberty of doing Blade dialogue.
