Uru took a deep breath and roared! The hyenas faltered in their advance, and the lioness took her chance and plunged into the fray. She had the upper paw with her early start, and after several minutes of angry (and painful) swipes, bites, pounces, and evasive action, the last hyena scampered away in fear and Uru stood victorious. She hauled herself out of the valley and back onto the ridge that she had slipped off of. Well. Now that that was over, it was back to hunting down Taka. Where could he be? |
