Uru tentatively approached the prince. "Taka?" she whispered.

The cub sniffed. "Morning, Mom," he said quietly. His voice sounded as if he had been crying. Her heart broke at the sound, and she walked up next to him.

"What's wrong, son?" she asked gently.

"Nothing," Taka retorted, turning away. He sniffled again. "I'm fine."

"Please, Taka, tell me. Something's troubling you."

"Mm." Taka groaned. There was a long silence before he spoke again. "Muffy was playing rough yesterday."

"Ah, yes, I remember. You wanted to go to bed early and didn't say why."

Taka was still looking away, but he sniffed and nodded.

"Did he hurt you?" Uru continued.

"Yeah," he said quietly, "and then he called me a sissy."

Uru replied...

1/ "What? Mufasa would never do that!"

2/ "Oh dear...that was uncalled for. I'll have to have a word with him."
