Nala was now a young lioness,things still didn't seem to be going well.Two of their lioness's,Baliena and Hoice were dead of starvation and it was all thanks to Scar. Nala sinced something about him that was weird,he seemed to protect her to much. She walked over to her mother,and the old former Queen,Sarabi.

Sarafina might not be strong and didn't like how Scar was ruling,but she was always cheerful,trying to cheer everyone up,but it was only her,alone that was happy.Nala slumped to the ground,"I am so hungry," she moaned.Sarabi faked a smile,"Everyone is dear,we'll have food again once the rain returns,it is winter,so it will be hard to find food."

Nala rolled her eyes,"Animals won't dare come here now,it is to spooky," Sarafina shook her head,she seemed a bit mad when she said,"Not when Zira's cub is born," Then all the animals will have to come see the new prince or princess,"

Zira was Scar's Queen,she was not having Scar's cub,it was another lions,but Scar was accepting the cub as his own,Scar & Zira's real children were,Lupa,who was the same age as Nala,and then Nuka was a few months younger,and Vitani was still a little cub,couldn't walk or talk yet.Nala said that Vitani should be the new heir,but Scar refused,he wanted a strong son to be the heir,and he was thinking that Zira's next cub would be that heir.

"Mother,why are you so mad about Zira having that cub?" asked Nala.Sarafine sighed.."Nala..Scar was once might mate..and..he is your father," Nala widened her eyes."No! It can't be!" Sarabi layed her tail on Nala's shoulder,
Not your real father,he just acted as your father,but only Sarafina & I knew,he was her mate when you were born,your real father is someone else."

Nala narrowed her eyes."Who?" Sarafina shook her head," I will tell you another time.."
