Chapter 1

One day Queen Nala had a cub.It was a boy.They named him Kopa.Kopa gre strong and loved to play.One day when he was playing,he met a girl cub named Vitani.Kopa & Vitani became friends quickly.Then Kopa met Nuka,Vitani's brother.All three of them were friends.One day,Kopa asked "Vitani,why were you sent to the Outlands in the first place?" "Well,long ago,the two worlds were one.And everyone was a happy family.Until one day King Mufasa was killed and my father Scar told everyone that it was King Simba's fault."Vitani explained."Scar had taken over the Pridelands.When King Simba returned many months later,he killed Scar.My mother was devistated.She tried to kill Simba,then he exiled my mother to the Outlands.Where I was born."Vitani paused."Now my life is miserable."Vitani left.Maybe if I go to the Outlands,and talk to her mother,everything will be okay.And maybe my father will let them back in the Pridelands.Kopa thought.The next morning,Kopa went to Nala."Hey mom,can I go to this really cool place?"Kopa asked."where is this really cool place?"Nala asked suspiciously."Uhh,around the waterhole!""Fine."Nala said.Kopa raced to the wildfields on his way to get a flower for Vitani.Soon Kopa was at the Outlands.Suddenly,someone jumped in front of him!

Chapter 2

It was Simba!He was furious!"Kopa!What have I told you about coming here!""But dad I-""No more talking!Go home at once!"Simba ordered.When they got home,Nala was angry yet relieved to have Kopa home.Kopa was sent to the den and wasn't allowed to come out for the whole day.He fell asleep.He had a wonderful dream while he was asleep.He dreamed that he and Vitani were prancing in the wildfields.Then they went to a river and Vitani fell in!Kopa jumped in to save her!He wasn't breathing.Then Kopa woke up to find that he had been holding his breath in his sleep!He suddenly heard a baby coo.He followed it to Nala,who had a newborn cub in her paws."Kopa,I'd like for you to meet Kiara.I had her while you were asleep."Nala softly said."Wow.I never knew I'd have a sister!"Kopa said."Neither did your father."Nala chuckled.Kopa then thought of his father.He went to see where he was.He saw him at the peak of Pride Rock.Kopa ran to him and asked:"Dad,why can't I play with Vitani?"Simba paused for a second."Well,her mother is not a very nice lion."Simba walked away.Not a very nice lion?Huh.No wonder Nuka likes to fight.Kopa thought.He decided to take a walk to think about his life.Or his final moments of his life.

Chapter 3

When Kopa was in the tall grasses of the Grasslands.He heard a noise in the grass.He ran to see what it was.Suddenly,Zira jumped out with her claws out!Terrified,Kopa said "W-who are you?" Zira chuckled."No need to worry.I am just Vitani's mother."Then,Kopa thought of his father's words:Well her mother is not a very nice lion.Kopa gasped,then ran.He ran until he reached the river.The same river that Zira would later die in.The waves were strong.Kopa had no where to run,no where to hide,Zira was approaching quickly,so he had no choice.He jumped into the rushing waters.Maybe his dream would come true.He looked at Zira who was laughing at the edge.Then she left."No!Don't leave me here alone!"Kopa yelled.Finally,he started crying.Would he ever see his family again?Would he ever see Vitani again.Terrified,he quickly grabbed onto a log,waiting to turn up somewhere.Meanwhile,Zira returned to the Outlands."Where's Kopa?"Vitani asked "I killed him now shut up."Zira hissed."WHAT!??!Mother how could you?"Vitani screamed.She almost had tears."Vitani,what's wrong?"Nuke said."Nuka,mother killed Kopa!" "What!??!"That night,Vitani snuck out of the Outlands and into the Pridelands.He knew of only one lion there she could trust-Nala.When she got there,she carefully snuck into the den.

Chapter 4

"Nala?Nala please wake up"Nala sleepily woke up."Vitani,sweetie what are you doing here?"Nala asked"It's Kopa.My mother killed him!"Nala gasped.She looked around.No Kopa.She told Vitani to go home and then woke up Simba.They followed his smell until they reached the river."It's true."Simba said sadly."Zira must've pushed him down there."Angry,Simba returned home.No one made a sound.When Kopa woke up,he was not in the Pridelands.Not the Outlands either.He was in the jungle.He groaned.He was hungry and thirsty.Suddenly,he saw a rain puddle.He ran over to it and drank all of the water out of it.Suddenly,a lion approached."Kopa?"the young lion said."How do you know my name?"Kopa asked."I'm your uncle Mheetu."He said."What happened?" "Well,an evil lioness named Zira tried to kill me.I had no where to go,so I jumped into the river.But I'm really hungry and I don't want to go back yet."Kopa almost cried again."Don't worry.I'll take care of you."Kopa ended up staying longer than he expected.

Chapter 5

He stayed for days,months,but still never returned.He was so used to his new life he almost forgot completely about his family.But one day,he remembered his family.He thanked Mheetu for taking care of him.He ran for days,and weeks.Finally,he reached the Pridelands.Everything looked the same.He carefully approached Pirde Rock.No one there.He ran all over and finally  found them where he had been nearly killed many months ago.Kopa was a teenager now.It seemed that the Pridelanders and the Outsiders were fighting.Kopa then saw his Sister Kiara,with a strange lion.Outraged,he quickly pushed the lion out of the way.Vitani recognized the lion as Kopa.She gasped.Simba roared.The strange lion,who appeared to be Kovu,ran to the cliff.Kopa pushed him off as Kiara screamed.Kovu was okay,but Kiara wasn't."What is wrong with you?Who do think you are?"Kiara yelled at Kopa."I....am Kopa."Kiara stopped to suddenly realize that his brother was alive.Everyone had heard him.Simba came up to him."Kopa?You're alive?" "Yes father.I have returned."Nala came and hugged him."You may be quiet grown now,but your still my little Kopa."
