CHAPTER  

             1         

Kiara slowly got out of the cave which she and her family lived.  She breathed in the fresh clean air. Ahhhhh, life is good!  Kiara went down by the stream and took a big, long, gulp of the cool, fresh, water.  She looked across the horizen, the sun was beating down on her back and gave a nice, warm, feeling.  Kiara looked on, not noticeing Kovu sneaking up behind her.  She sniffed the air, and could tell it was Kovu from the start.  "Hello Kovu, good morning!" Kiara called out.  Kovu, completely off guard, stood stock still. "Uh, good morning honey," he stammered.  Kiara walked up to Kovu and gave him a big nuzzle under his chin.  He liked it when Kiara did that to him.  Simba came down eventually, and drank some streamwater too.  "Daaaad!" Kiara complained.  "Me and Kovu were having some alone time together!" "Sorry sweetheart!" Simba said and quickly left.  Kovu chuckled. "Huh! I guess we SHOULD be going inside!" Kiara had to agree. "Yes Kovu, I must hunt and get us breakfast. But I'll see you soon!" "Okay! Bye!" Kovu called back.  Kovu lazily went back to the cave to go get some rest.

    CHAPTER 

         2       

     Kiara went through the grass, softly, everso softly. She crouched down, her eyes peeled on the herd of antolope grazing.  Kiara inched her way forward, using that tip that Kovu had given her a long while back, to FEEL the earth underneath her very own paws.  She jumped up into the air aiming for a young antolope.  She grabbed hold of it and pinned it down.  Now it was Kiara's worst part, dragging it to Pride Rock. 'Uggghhh' thought Kiara. It was very hard to drag and antolope from very close to the Out Lands, to Pride Rock.  The lions in Pride Rock changed the name of the Out Lands, into the Pride Rock Land.  Kiara didn't like that name very much. She thought it sounded dull.  When she finally reached Pride Rock, a group of lions were waiting for her.  "Whew!" breathed Nala. "I was beginging to worry there! You were gone for a very long time!" Kiara answered with a touch of grouciness. "Hummph! It was because of the stuipid antolope! They've gone all the way to Pride Rock Lands!" Nala replied smoothly, "You shouldn't call them stupid sweetheart, they let us eat them." Kiara was kind of ashamed for what she said. "Sorry Mom." Kovu switched the conversation.  "So how about we eat? I'm starving!" All the lions had to agree with Kovu.  There was no need to talk about antolope, they just had to eat it! They hungerly tore at the good, fresh, antolope.

   CHAPTER

         3      

Zika grinned evily, as her mate, Vach, slowly lifted the paralized bird in his grasp. "So birdy," she said to the bird. "Where is Pride Rock?"  The bird was stunned by the scar which went right down her left cheek.  "WHERE IS IT?!!" She exclaimed very madly now. "P-p-ride R-o-o-ck is o-over their," he stammered. "Vach.  Get Redclaw, and bring him here." Vach obeyed diligently, knowing if he dared stop her judgment, he would get punished.  Redclaw came over to Zika and asked,"What do you desire, master?" "Bring me Simba. I would like a 'talk' with him!"

     CHAPTER

            4   

Once Kiara had finished her meal, she quietly slipped away to a quiet lake and sat down.  The air was filled with fireflys dancing too and fro, owls hooting, and crickets chirping.  Kovu came over to her. "What's wrong dearest?" He asked her worried.  "Oh nothing," Kiara replied very fast.  But Kovu knew better, and knew something fishy was going on. "Tell me please. You know you can tell me anything right?" He asked her. "Alright," Kiara said taking a deep breath. "I was hoping to have a baby," she said.  Kovu jumped back in surprise. "You're going to have a BABY??" He asked stunned.  Kiara laughed,"No, dearest, I WANTED a baby. I wasn't GOING to have a baby." "Oh," Kovu said relieved.

The next morning, Kiara rushed to her father and gave him a big, cat, hug. "Mmpphh! Gerrofome!" Simba exclaimed, his face in the ground. "Dad! Guess what?" Kiara said exictedly. "You have a heart attack?" "No! Better!" "You got a antolope?" "Nope! I'm going to have a baby!" Kiara exclaimed. Simba bolted upright, stunned.  "B-b-but, aren't you to young?" He asked her.  "Well," Kiara hesitated. "I sorta am, but I wanted a baby so bad! Please Dad! Don't you want me to have a baby?"  "Why of course!" He told her. "Know it would be best if you told your mother."

Redclaw stiffled a laugh as he thought to himself,'Yes! Miss Zika will  be so proud once she hears that KIARA is having baby! Oh this is TOO good!'

     CHAPTER

        5     

Redclaw reported at once to Zika of his search at Pride Rock. "Grrrr! Didn't you get SIMBA!!" Zika screamed.  Redclaw winched at the ferocity of her scream.  "Yes master, I have brought you Simba." "Fool! Bring him to me!" Redclaw obeyed, and told Viskco to go get the captive.  Viskco brought Simba in, snickering as he went.  "So Simba," Zika said. "I heard that Kiara is having a baby eh?" "How did you know that?!" Simba yelled.  "Tut tut Simba! I didn't know you would be so ANGRY with me!" She said mockinly.  "I just wanted a little FUN.  And anyways, if you DID get very mad at me, well, let's just say," She said getting closer to Simba. "Your precious Kiara will get killed," she said almost whispering. Simba slashed at her cheek, making yet another claw mark. Zika screeched in pain. "Beat him!!!" She screamed at her guards.  The guards tackled Simba to the ground and pinned him down.  "Take him away, he digustes me!" Zika said with distaste. The guards pulled Simba off, while Simba gave Zika a icy cold stare.
