Sanala:The Beginning.

The scorching sun was shining brighter then ever.
Animals all around were gathering at Priderock.A lion stand ontop of it roaring.Afew moments later a baboon named,Juja climbed up the rocks.A lioness came up & handed a beautiful brown female cub to Juja.Juja wiped something on the cub & held her up in the air.Anima's made noises & bowed down.This cub would be their next queen.
Juja stopped.Then he asked "What is her name?"
The King Moneda & the Queen Zala looked at eachother.
"Her name is Sanala" answered Zala.

9 months went by.Sanala was a cub.Sanala ran across Priderock & looked around."Wow!" she gasped.SHe started to climb down Priderock.All the sudden a paw was in front of her.She looked up to see her father."Daddy!" she complained."Where do you think your going?" he chuckled."To play" growled Sanala.Moneda smiled."Just stay on the path I marked for you!" he yowled as Sanala ran off.Zala came up."What are we going to do with her?" he sighed.Zala chuckled."She's just like you were when you were young"Moneda looked at his paws."Yes..she is" he murmured.Then Zaza,the kings servent & old friends flew up to him."What is is Zaza?" he asked."The morning report!" said Zaza landing on a rock."Fire away!" ordered Moneda."Well,the birds are flying about & laying eggs,the cheetahs are hunting well,the elephants are spreading about & the rhinos are arguing with the hippos about the grassy part of the land" explained Zaza.Moneda shook his head."Very well" he said walking to the cave.
In the Pridelands,Sanala was chasing a butterfly."Hey!" she called."I just want to play!"The butterfly flew higher to where Sanala couldn't catch it.Sanala stopped & sat down sadly."I wish I had a friend" she sighed.A rock was in front of her.She peered over it & gasped."Wow!The Outlands!"She jumped off the rock & ran torwards the Outlands away from her fathers pawsteps.She tripped over a branch & landed next to a lion cub.He was light colored like her grandmother,Izzy.But her had purple eyes."Who are you Pridelander?" he demmanded."I..I am Sanala...Princess Sanala" stammered Sanala.The cub narrowed his eyes.Then sat down."I'm Koda" he said reaching out a paw.Sanala shook his paw nervously."What are you doing here?" he asked curiously."I'm exploring" said Sanala."So..your not following your daddys rules?" said Koda."N..no" said Sanala looking behind her."Well I'd leave if I were you" said Koda"Why?" asked Sanala."My mom,Zeena,hates Pridelanders" explained Koda.Sanala widend her eyes."Oh..ok" she sighed.All the sudden a lioness popped up at of the grass.She roared.Then Moneda popped up out of the grass & roared."Zeena" growled Moneda."Moneda" growled Zeena.She was about to attack whenever Zala & a few other lionesses came up.She stopped."I banished you from the Outlands..now you & your young cub..get out!" ordered Moneda."Oh havn't you met my son Koda?He was hand chosen by Scars before you banished us to th Outlands" explained Zeena.She shoved Zeena up to Moneda."Here...eat him" he said.Koda was trembling with fear.Sanala took a step forward to calm him but Zala grabbed her & hid her behind her leg."No" said Moneda."Leave" he added.Zeena picked up Koda & Moneda picked up Sanala & they headed home.Before they were home,Moneda stopped & placed Sanala on a rock.Zala looked back.Moneda nodded his head & Zala followed the other lionesses."Daddy I!" began Sanala."You disobeyed me,Sanala!" said Moneda.Sanala looked at her paws."I know" she sighed."I just wanted a friend" she added sadly.Moneda frowned."You can't be friends with an enemy" he said."One day when your Queen I won't be here to watch you" he explained."But what if iI don't wanna be Queen?..it's no fun" said Sanala."Saying that is like saying you don't want to be a lion" said Moneda placing hi saw on her back.Sanala looked at the ground."Come on..i">The scorching sun was shining brighter then ever.

t's getting late..let's go home" said Moneda."Ok" sighed Sanala following her father.

Months went by & Sanala was a young adult.So was Koda.Sanala decided to go hunting.When she was in the Pridelands she noticed smoke.Then a lion came to her & said to run.Sanala obeyed.They jumped on a cliff & they sit there panting."Who are you?" asked Sanala.The lion sat up."It's me Koda" said the lion."Koda?" echoed Sanala."Wow!I havn't seen you in forever!" gasped Sanala.Koda smiled.Then Moneda raced up to them with Zala."Who are you?" demmanded Moneda."What are you doing with MY daughter?""Father Koda saved my life" explained Sanala."Koda!" hissed Moneda."Moneda!" gasped Zala."Moneda I humbly ask to join your pride in friendship" said Koda smoothly.Moneda roared."Moneda..you owe him your daughters life" said Zala.Moneda paced the ground."Fine" he growled."But you may not SLEEP in the cave" he said.They all walked off.
A few days later Sanala woke up Koda in the night by heading out to the watering hole.He sat up."Where are you going?" he asked."To the watering hole" answered Sanala nervously."Can I come?" asked Koda.Sanala narrowed her eyes."Sure" she purred happily.They headed out.When they reached there they stopped."Koda?Why did you want to join us?" asked Sanala looking at the water.Koda froze.Zeena planned her would kill Moneda & Sanala.But he loved her now.He couldn't."I hated the Outlands" lyed Koda."Oh" whispered Sanala.They lay on their backs looking at the stars.Maybe he'll betry his mother.

Days went by.Zeena led her pride to attack.
The battle begun.Zeena was about to hit Moneda whenever Sanala & Koda jumped in the way."Koda" growled Zeena."Move""Step aside Sanala" said Moneda."Daddy this has to stop!" said Sanala.Moneda widend her eyes."A wise king once told me we are one" explained Sanala."I didn't understand it then..but now I do""But them" began Moneda."Them us look at them..they are us" explained Sanala.Moneda looked around at all the lionesses who were shocked."She's right mother" said Vita stepping from behind Zeena.Vita padded over to Moneda."Enough"If you will not fight then you will die aswell" growled Zeena.All Zeenas pride rolled their eyes & headed over ot the Pridelanders side.Zeena gasped then leaped at Sanala & they rolled off the cliff."Sanala!" yowled Zala.Moneda & Koda raced to the edge.Zeena had fallen into the water,drowning.
The next morning all the animals gathered around Priderock for a wedding.Moneda,Koda,Zala & Sanala roared at the edge followed by the other lionesses.The beginning was complete.
