THe sun shone in thepink colored sky..a lion sat at the end of the Priderock two cubs were with him.You see Mufasa & Taka?Things from here are diffrent from down there said the lion who was King Ahadi.Yes I see agreed Mufasa who was sometimes called Muffy.Mufasa was close to the edge.While little Taka was behind his fathers golden  yellow leg.I'm scared he shivered as the wind ruffled Ahadis,Mufasas,& his fur.You wont be forever promised Ahadi in a chuckle.Ahadi turned around to the cave where Mufasa & Takas mom Urur was watching.Mufasa leape dup & raced after his dad.Can we hunt? he begged.Ahadi looked at Uru & shook his head & he & Mufasa went to the pridelands.You are not going? aske dUru caslmly.No sighed Taka.I don't want to.Ok purred Urur truning around where Moyhoo,Sarabis mother,Yewna,Sarafinas mother & Geenamay,Ziras mmother were sitting.Moyhoo was giving Sarabi a bath.While Yewna & Geenamay were watching Zira & Sarafina play fight.Taska thought Sarafina was pretty,he lso thought Sarabi was kind,but there was something in Zira he liked  but he couldn't figure it out.Takas uncle Nerowa,Ahadis brother had a cub named Uvoko.Uvokos mom was dead & her name was Solly.Uvoko hated Mufasa & Taka.He hated them so much.But Taka ignored him.He had nothing to do with Uvoko.Hi Taka! called Sarafina.Hi muttered Taka embarrisingly.Do you wanna play? asked Sarabi & Zira.No said Taka looking at his paws.Why not? asked Zira stepping up to him she was mad.I don't know sighed Taka turning around & heading away to the cave.He curled up near the entrence & went to sleep.

Taka!.....Taka! called a voice.Taka opened his eyes to find the orange colore dyes of Sarabi looking at him.What? yawned Taka.Wher's Mufasa whispered Sarabi.Dunno muttered Taka going back to sleep.You're no help growled Sarabi turing around quickly.Good said Taka.He opened his eye sagai & sat up & looked around.Half the pride was asleep & it wasn't even sunset.Nerowa was walking torwards Uru & said something.Uru growled & Nerowa went away quickly.Green eyes were staring at him from a few Zebra lenghts away.It was Uvoko.What do you want? growled Taka.Where's Zira? aske dUvoko.How should I know? said Taka.Cause you like her said Uvoko.No..I don't said Taka fiercly.Whatever muttered Uvoko prancing off torwards Uru.Stupid! he thought.Taka looked up to se his brothe returning with a mouse.I caught this for you! he purred.Yippe muttered Taka.So yo caught your first catch? asked Sarabi who spottedMufasa.Yep! said Mufasa happily.That's great! gasped Sarafina.Taka took a bite & walked off.Where are you going? asked Mufaa.To bed sighed Taka.Oh..said Mufasa,Ok.

Taka opened his eyes & jumped up.He would go visit his uncle Nerowa.He leape doff to Nerowas den.N..Nerowa! he called.Oh great a mouse-brain muttered a tired & bored voice.It's me...Taka! he said.Nerowa opened his eyes & sat up.He shook his red colored mane.What? muttered Nerowa.It's Mufasa sighed Taka.Nerowas eyes lit up.What about Mufasa? he said.He's goign to be king..I kno he is said Taka.Well you have a choice.. began Nerowa.I do? aske dTaka.Yes....kill Mufasa answered Nerowa looking behind him.B...bu he's my borhter cried Taka with tears rolling down his cheeks.Yes I understand..said Nerowa.You are still young..but when you grow bigger & older you'll start to understand he said turning around & heading off to his bed.H..how thouhg? stammered Taka.Well..are you going to kill him? asked Nerowa.I dont know sihed Taka.Then think about it growled Nerowa laying down.Taka blinked the tears out of his eyes.Kill Mufasa! he thought sadly.I..I can't he sihged.Can't what? asked a voice.He looked behind him & saw Sarafina.Nohing muttered Taka.Oh said Sarafina looking at her paws.She looked like she was about ot explode.What's the matter with you? growled Taka.Sarafina looked up.I love you! she blurted then covered her mouth with her tail & ran off behind Priderock.Taka held his breath.What he always wanted, happened!Maybe being King would happen.He purred.I love her to! he thought as he walked off.

Taka!!!!! cried a scared voice.Taka looked up.Sarafina was running to him scared looking.What? asked Taka.Z..Zira..i..is trying to kill me stammered Sarafina behind him.What? snorted Taka he took a few steps to Zira who was running towards him.What are you doing? said Taka.About to claw he rears off growled Zira crouching down.You are a cub you can't do that teased Taka prodding Ziras shoulder.She called me a Dunghearted hyeana snarled Zira.What's going on? asked a voice.It was his mother,Uru.Zira's trying to claw Sarafinas ears mumbled Taka.WHy? gasped Uru leaningback.She called me a Dunghearted hyeana answered Zira.Why did you Sarafina? asked Uru.Sarafina looked at he rpaws.She said Sarabi is a whimp & Mufasa & Taka are cry babies answered Sarafina.Really? echoed Mufasa walking up to stand by Taka.He looked bigger then him.Yes sighed Taka.Mufasa & Taka walked away to let the girls talk.So you are going to be king? asked Taka looking down.Mufasa tensed.Yes he answered.But it wont be fun without my brother! said Mufasa pinning Taka down.Get off said Taka.What's wrong? sked Mufasa.Dad likes you more muttered Taka.You know that's not true said Mufasa unpinning Taka.It is sighed Taka.Father likes us both the same said Mufasa puffing out hi schest.Taka rolled his eyes.I'm going to bed he sighed.Mufasa stayed where he was.Taka whispered a voice.Taka looked up.His mother was laying on the King & Queens rock.What? muttered Taka.Come here she ordered.Taka padded over to the queen.What's wrong? she asked placing him between her paws.Dad likes Muffy more & he gets to be king said Taka.You know that's not true! gasped Uru leaping up.Henda & Ula some lionesses looked up.What happened? they asked.Nothing said Uru she looked back at Taka.What has gotten into you? she asked.Nothing! muttered Taka walking away.

Three days later,Taka seemed more then pouty.Taka! called Sarafina.What! growled Taka.You father wants you said Sarafina.Taka pricked his ears.My father wants me? he asked.Yes said Sarafina.Taka leaped up.He skipped to where his father was at the watering hole.Taka said Ahadi.Y..yes? asked Taka hoping he would get to be king.Come for a walk ordered Ahadi.Taka followed his father threw the grass.The stars were already glowing.My father's up there you know said Ahadi.Mohatu? asked Taka.No son...your mothers father was king before me..my father,Negrone he was Mohatus bestest friend..untill...he died explained Ahadi.There was a silence.Now was his chance.Father? asked Taka looking up.Yes son? answered Ahadi.W...why does Mufasa get tobe king?Ahadi stared at the stars.I don't know he answered in a sigh.Taka twitched his tail.I know why! yowled Taka.You like him better!You think he is stronger & bigger!You think I wouldn't be good enough!You like him more!Enough!Ahadi stood up.He reached a paw up & swiped at Takas face.Taka yowled.Placing a paw on his eyes he felt blood.Taka widend his eyes.Taka raced away back to Priderock.Mom! he cried.He stopped as Sarafina,Sarabi,Zira & Mufasa got in front of him.What happend! gasped Sarafina.Sarabi gasped aswell.Mufasa widend his eyes & looked at Ahadi who was coming up to them.Ahadi tryed to grab Taka but Taka ran to the cave.Uru jumped up.My son! she gasped.Uru wrapped her paw around him & looked at his scratch.Ahadi came in.Why did you do this to my son! she demmanded.Ahadi looked as if he was about to cry.I...I can't remember stammered Ahadi.Taka pressed into his mothers fur & cryed.Uru stood up & glared at Ahadi.Why did I marry you? she snarled.Taka stood up & walked away to his bed.I am going to bed he muttered.

Months & Months went by.Mufasa & Taka were grown.Taka had changed his name to Scar.So his father would never forget.Hey brother! called Mufasa who was walking with Sarabi.Hello growled Scar angryly.He was pacing his den at the other side of the cave on Priderock.Zira had begun to be close to him.Sarafina found a secret someone away from here,whom she wouldn't talk about.Sarabi & Mufasa had grown very close.Scar hated being the Kings brother.Scar had started to visit the hyeanas as well.Ahadi had dies a month ago.Uru was alive but old.

A few days later the arrival of a cub was here.Scar got first in line.But once he saw Mufas on the edg of Priderock he went back to his cave.The little hairball does not desrve this.Mufasa & Sarabi called they're son,Simba.Scar growled.I will be king!Even if I have to kill them all!
