Chapter 9: The first kiss

Years have past and Scuta, Takira and Lezura are adolescents.
Scuta is 15 and Takira is 15 also. Lezura is 17.
Scuta is growing a mane. Scuta, has grown into a good-looking lion.
Lezura is growing a mane also. Lezura has grown into a good-looking lion.

Takira has grown into an attractive lioness.
Takira and Scuta are walking together in the Pridelands.
 "Thank you for being at my birthday party."
 "Anything for you."
Scuta smiled affectionately at Takira.
 "What?"
 "I like you a lot, Takira."
 "I like you a lot too."
Scuta walked toward Takira, and Scuta without due consideration kissed Takira on the lips.
Scuta stopped kissing her.
Takira smiled affectionately at Scuta.

 "Yes I am." Sedka replied.
 "I have no problem with you being a bisexual." said Kiara.
 "Just like your mother." said Sedka.
Kiara smiles fondly.
 "Mother I'm back." said Scuta.
 "My son, I need to tell you something."
 "What is it that you want to tell me?"
 "I'm bisexual."
Scuta opened his mouth in surprise.
Scuta looked at his mother then at Kiara.
 "Are you and Kiara um...like going ou-."
"No!" exclaimed Kiara and Sedka.
Scuta sighed with relief.
 "That is who you are. I'm all right with that."

 "Really?"
 "Yep." said Scuta.
 "Does my father be knowledgeable about that?"
 "I told your father."
 "Have you told my brother?"
 "Yes I have."
The sun is about to set in a few hours.
 "I'm going to hang out with Lezura." said Scuta.
Scuta left them alone.
Takira walked up to Sedka and Kiara.
Takira made sure that, Scuta is out of earshot.
 "Mother, Scuta kissed me on the lips."
Kiara smiled supportively.

 "Is he your 1st mate?" Kiara asked.
 "No!"
 "We remain just friends."
 "Right."
 "Mother."
 "I'm sorry." Kiara said.
 "Great, training school starts tomorrow."
Kiara smiled happily at her daughter.
 "You're growing up so fast."
 "There's four year's ‘till I finish all school rankings."
 "Who are my teacher's?"
 "Your "In great physical hunting Shape" coach is Kovu."
 "My father, is going to teach me?"

 "Great!"
 "Don't worry, he taught me how to go in pursuit of prey, and how to be silent while hunting." said Kiara.
 "That is cool."
 "Your "Genesis of Africa" teacher is Dazer."
 "Your "Learning of the Swahili" teacher is Sarafina."
 "Your "Environmental Science" professor is Rafiki."
 "Your "Circle of Life" teacher is Simba."
 "Your "Emotional Reaction" teacher is Nala."
 "I have six lessons?"
 "Yes you do."

 "Is there a break for chow time?"
 "Yes there is."Kiara replied.
The next day

Chapter ten: A tyro

Scuta, is sleeping, and Scuta is snoring noisily.
 "Scuta, wake up now!" said his mother.
Scuta grunted and woke up.
Scuta, is still half asleep, he yawned.
 "Scuta you're going to be late for school!"
Scuta opened his eyes wide.
 "Oh "shit"ake mushroom!" he said.
 "You meant to say shitake mushroom."
 "Sorry mom."

Scuta ran out of the den.
Meanwhile in the Pridelands
 "Scuta better hurry. Nala is pissed off."
 "Intelligent move by saying that out loud." said Lezura.
 "What am I?"
Takira laughed nervously.
 "I'll give you a warning, for swearing."

Takira's ears flatten against her head, because she got a warning.
 "Takira, don't worry at least you got a warning." said Lezura.
Takira cheered up a bit.
Scuta ran towards his classmates, Scuta tripped on one of his paws and crashed into Nala.
Nala grunted and fell to the ground.
Takira and Lezura gasp.
Scuta, is on top of Nala.
 "I'm so sorry."
Scuta got off Nala, and Scuta brushed the dirt off Nala's beautiful fur with his paw.
 "Scuta stop right now!"

Scuta's ears flatten against his head.
Scuta stopped helping Nala.
 "Scuta, be more careful."
Scuta did not want to look Nala straight in the eye.
Scuta still had his ears against his head.
 "Scuta, I didn't mean to shout at you."
Nala kindly embraced Scuta.
Scuta started to cry quietly.

Nala looks at Scuta.
 "Scuta don't cry. It was an accident."
Scuta wiped away his tears.
 "I'm ok."
Nala nuzzled Scuta.

 "Well since all of my, tyros are present."
 "The session can commence."
Scuta sat next Takira.
And Takira sat next a teenage leopardess.
Lezura sat next to a lioness.
 "1st I want all of you to introduce yourselves."

 "I know, some of you know each other but new tyros have come."
Nala looked around.
 "We'll start with you."
Nala pointed to the teenage leopardess that Takira is sitting next to.
 "Will you tell me your name, please?"
 "My name is Anavi."
 "I haven't seen you around here, where do you live?"
 "I live in the Rumored lands."
 "The Rumored lands, is 5 days away." said Nala.

 "I know, but my mother won't let me come back home ‘till I finish all ranks."
 "Ah, well um...ok."
Lezura forgot that he once lived in the Rumored lands.

Lezura raised his paw.
 "Yes, brother...I mean Lezura."
 "I lived in the Rumored lands, before I came here." said Lezura.

 "Simba lived there for a few years." said Nala.

 "Anavi, how do you feel about coming to a new place, and the beginning of school?"

 "I feel depressed of leaving home, but I guess I'll deal with it."
 "This school is kind of cool. I'll get to like this place." said Anavi.

Nala started talking to the lioness sitting next to Lezura.

"I'm sorry, you were saying?" said Nala to the lioness.
Minutes later.
Nala and her tyros heard an elephant trumpet.
 "That means your first course group is over." said Nala
 "Nala what course group is next?"
 "Genesis of Africa is next."

 "Thank you." said Scuta.
 "You have ten minutes to get to your next course group." said Nala.
 "Nala is a perfect teacher." said Takira.

 "A beaver's dam good one, if you ask me." said Scuta.
A few hours later
 "I'm glad school is over."
 "I'm glad also." said Takira.
Scuta and Takira walk home.
The next day

Chapter 11: The forgotten

A thunder and lightning storm has come.
Scuta and Takira are in the den.

 "Takira, since we don't have school, let's play tag."
 "Ok."
Scuta looked outside.
 "Lets play out there."
 "Are you sure about that?" asked Takira.
 "Yes I am."
Scuta grabbed her paws and led her outside.
Scuta and Takira walked very far away from Pride rock.
Rain started to fall.

Scuta and Takira's fur is drenched in water.
Scuta looked at Takira's wet body.
Scuta saw Takira more than a friend just then.
Takira smiled at him.
Water is dripping from their fur.
Scuta smiles.
The thunder stops thundering, for a little while.
 "Takira, I know we have been friends for a long time, but I was hoping that we could be more than that."
Takira could not believe her ears, but Takira likes Scuta a lot.
 "Will you be my mate, Takira?"

Takira smiled affectionately.
 "Yes I will."
Scuta leaned over to Takira, and Scuta kissed Takira on the lips.
Scuta embraced Takira's wet body.
Takira held him close to her wet body.
Scuta and Takira closed their eyes.
Scuta stopped kissing Takira when he felt claws sink into his back.
Scuta roared at full volume.
Takira was terrified.

Takira screamed.
Scuta fell to the ground, his back bleeding.
Scuta looked up at his attacker.

A male lion with red eyes stared at Scuta.
 "Hello Scuta, I know your mother." said the male lion.
Scuta, breathes heavily.
 "How do
