The Royal Secret

 

" Mother?" Simba asked Sarabi as they layed together at the back side of Pride Rock. It was a warm summer's evening in the Pride Lands." Yes, Simba?" Sarabi replied. " Why have you lived so long?  Your acient." " I know," Sarabi ammeted. Sarabi was the oldest living creature in the Pride Lands. " " Simba, theres something you must know," Sarabi started to say. " What's that?" Simba asked. Zazu came flying towards them.

" Sire!" Zazu landed at Simba's paws. " What is it Zazu?" Simba asked. " Kiara is giving birth!" " What? Is she all right?" Simba cried. " She's fine. She just started giving birth a few minutes ago." Simba bounded off, but then stopped to see Sarabi slowly get up. " Mother," Simba said softly. Sarabi looked at her son. " Go on, my son. I'll be there in a few minutes. Simba looked at her for a few more seconds then ran to thr royal cave.

Simba stopped at the entrance of the cave and saw Kiara lying on the ground with Kovu at her side. Kiara and Kovu both had grown since they had gotten married. Kovu's mane was longer and more thicker.He was now Lord of Pride Rock. Kiara was a beautifull as ever.She was still the Princess of Pride Rock. Kiara cried out in pain. Simba rushed to her side. " Kiara!" Simba said. " Daddy," Kiara said gratefuly. " Kiara!" Nala said bounding in. " Hi mom," Kiara said before she cried out in pain.

Kiara gave a few more pushes until a smal cub came out. The cub was a mixture of brown and gold. The cub turned out to be a male. He had hazzle eyes and markings for a chocolate mane. Kiara sighed in relife as she licked off the gunk that was on the tinny Prince.

" Congradulations, Kiara," Sarabi said coming up beside Simba. " Thanks Granny Sarabi," Kiara said. " Zazu," Kovu said. " Yes my Lord?" " Go tell Rafiki that we have a son. And bring him here, please," Kovu finnished. " Yes of course," Zazu said flying out of the cave. " What do you want to name him?" Nala asked. Kovu and Kiara looked thoughtfil. " What about Kuza?" Kovu suggested.

Kiara's eyes lit up. " I like that a lot!" " Kuza it shall be then." Kovu said licking his son. " Your a great-great grandmother now mom," Simba said playfully. Sarabi only smiled. " Its worth it." She said licking Simba's mane. " Awww mom! Your messing up my mane!" Simba said playfuly.

Later Zazu came back with the news that Rafiki would arive eraly that morning. Nala sent the hunting party out so they could feast after the crowning ceremoney. Simba roared for all the animals to come to Pride Rock. Rafiki finnaly arived and did the crowning of the Prince. Then Rafiki walked up the promotory of Pride Rock, with Kovu and Kiara following. Simba, Nala, Sarabi and the lioness stopped out side of the royal cave.

Rafiki raised up Kuza for all to see. The animals cheered and bowed. The lions roared and bowed also. A light shown down on Rafiki and Kuza. Two visions startted to form in the sky. Simba was not surprised to his Mufasa smiling down on them. Simba was greatly surprised to see Scar cow down at Mufasa's side.

A strong sweet voice filled the air. " WE ARE ONE," Mufasa said. Then it made since to Simba why Scar was there.  A minute later the light faded and Rafiki brought Kuza to his royal parents. The animals began to scatter. Rafiki bowed and turned to make his long jounry to his home. 

Six monthes later Kuza had grown into a healthy cub. He was spunky like Simba was when he was a cub. He also had Kovu rough and toughness to him as well.Every thing was fine, except for on thing. Kiara and Kovu didn't have a heir for their son. Kiara and Kovu had talked about this manny times. But there was no pride near by. And the female cubs at Pride Rock were eather too old for Kuza or too young. His parents became worried. Finally Sarabi approached Simba.

" He was your full brother." " Was?!" "I gave birth to him two months after Mufasa was killed and you were bannished. I haven't seen him since." Sarabi said saddly.

" He reminded me so much of you. In fact you two looked almost identecal. I named him Kimba." "Did dad know about this?" " No. I was going to tell him the day after the stampede happened.......................if it haven't had hapened. I wan't even sure if I was pregnant. I found out two days before the event happened. I was just so busy that I didn't have time to tell Mufasa. I was all ready two months a long."

Simba was silent. " Could you tell me what happened?" Sarabi nodded. ( Sarabi's Flash back)           Morning finally came into the Pride Lands. It was gray and over cast to match everyone's mood. Scar had announced Mufasa and Simba's death that night. Sarabi walked out of Pride Rock with a heavy heart. She looked up onto the sky, he heart fell to her paws. She countinued to walk into the Pride Lands.

Once she was in the middle of the Pride Lands, Sarabi started to cry. " Sarabi?" A sad voice asked behind her. Sarabi turned around and saw Sarafina standing there with a sad expresion and dried tears on her face. She had cried herself to sleep like every one else had. " Are you okay?" Sarafina asked. Sarabi shrugged while trying to pull her self together.

" How's Nala?" Sarabi finally asked. " Devestated," Sarafina said. " Sarafina there's something I must tell you, but you must promise not to tell anyone." " Yes, of course." " I'm pregnant." " Wha?!!" Sarafina shricked. " Ssssshhhh!!!!!!" The queen scollded. " No one must know!"  " Sorry," Sarafina said quikly. " In a week before he's due I'm going to Rafiki's place and stay there until he's born. I would like you and Nala to stay with me." " Of course!" Together they walked back to Pride Rock.

A month later Sarabi, Sarafina and Nala made their way to Rafiki's tree. They had walked for two hours when Nala said, " Are we there yet mom? I'm so tired." " Would you
