Zoe was your average female cub she loved playing with her sister Hermione and her friends Harry and Ron and Ginny. She had creamy fur and a white under belly and sky blue eyes that sparkled like a thousand stars, her parents were simba and nala and she liked playing with her unlcle timone and uncle pumba. She was just a fun loving cub but there was one diffrence she was a princess and one day along with her sister she was going to be queen of the pride lands.
One day Zoe and her friend Harry were walking in the pride lands with zazu flying above them, they were muttering to each other when zazu flew down and said "young love is such a wonderful thing" the two cubs looked horrified "you two are actually betrothed together" Harry looked confused "what does betrothed mean?" zazu anwsered "you and princess zoe are going to get married one day". Zoe looked at harry then to zazu and said "eww I can't marry Harry he's ....." zazu fineshed the sentence for her "your best friend I know that is exactly wht your parents said zoe" "well I still can't get married to him" "ye she's right we are best friends we don't see each other that way". Zazu took the two cubs home they were both caught in their own thoughts...
Zoe's thoughts: "I can't marry him he's my best friend and it wouldn't be right but mum and dad were best friends and they reacted the same way me and Harry did does that mean anything, does he have feelings for me, look at my parents happily married with two cubs. Could me and Harry be like them I mean I havn't exactly pictured myself with him but he would be the best for me because he is my best friend and we have been through everything together. Oh im so confused".
Harry's thoughts: " I really don't know what to feel I mean she's my best friend of course I like her but I havn't exactly stopped to picture myself mated with her but I do have feelings for her I know that but what I don't know if she has feelings for me I hope she does".
Zoe went to her parents cave and Harry went to his.
Zoe and Harry were teenagers now as were Hermione and ron and so was Ginny. Harry's mane had grown a bit and so had ron's. There was a new lioness in the pride lands and she was called cho chang as soon as she let her eyes fall on harry she fell in love with him, cho walked to harry and smiled at him flirtily and said "hi harry im cho would you mind showing me around" harry not noticing the flirting look and the hurt look from zoe said "sure cho ill just say bye to these guys, see ya you lot...hey wheres zo gone" he started looking around for his best friend hermione anwsered him "uhh she had to go harry" harry looked confuesed and upset that she hadn't said goodbye "wheres she gone" ron and hermione sighed "she had to be on her own for a while" "what do you..." he was stoped when cho enthusiascialy shoved him "come on harry forget about that other lioness whatever her name is" "its zoe" growled harry but then reluctlently followed her.
Hermioe went to check on her sister, she found her in the cave sobbing, hermiones heart went out to her sister at that moment harry was such a idiot couldn't he see how much zoe loved him she sighed and went to nuzzle her heartbroken sister "oh mione I love him so much it isn't fair" sobbed zoe "sh sh zo its gonna be ok you'll see" said hermione but she herself doubted the outcome.
Harry showed Cho around the pride lands and introduced her t his parents who wern't entirely thrilled to meet her which he didn't understand but cho didn't seem to care"this is the it shoukd be harry you and me together forever" flirted cho "what are you on about I only showed you around the pride lands I don't love you or like you!" shouted harry "but you introduced me to your parents" he looked at her with anger shining in his dazzling green eyes "I wanted you to have some friends thats all but if your gonna be like this then there is no point in even being here" harry stormed off but stoped when cho shouted "ye go on run back to your precious zoe!" "what are you on about" she looked at him and smirked "you didn't know, she was heartbroken when you agreed to show me around thats why she left and wanted to be alone I saw it in her eyes" harry ran off back to pride rock.
Zoe still sobbing went out onto the top of pride rock and layed down letting the tears roll down her fur and onto the rock beneath her she heard a roar in the distance and heard her name she looked out and saw harry running towards pride rock she tried to get up but all of her crying had made her exhausted so she just flopped down and waited for him to come. He jumped up the rocks and got on the top ledge stopping when he saw her. He got closer and layed down next to her, he looked at her tear stained face and he usually bright blue eyes were now full of pain and she looked broken he licked her paw but she moved it away from him and tried to stand up and she did and she started walking into the cave but harry wouldn't let her get away that easily he got up and jumped in front of her blocking her passage "don't walk away from me" he pleaded "why are you here why arn't you with you wonderful cho" he gasped at her cold tone but knew he deserved it "zo please im sorry" "your sorry for breaking my heart and chucking it out to the wind" he walked closer to her and licked her cheek "I wish you could forgive me I mean your my best friend why wouldn't you forgive me" "oh ye thats me zoe the best friend the one you go to when you need things sorting out fixing all of your little problems well let me tell you harry I am fed up with being the best friend" he looked her hurt in his eyes "what do you mean do you want us to stop being friends" "no thats not what I want" harry breathed a sigh of relief and walked off thinking things were sorted he tried to give her a nuzzle but she wouldn't look at him "there you go again as soon as you think something is fine you walk off and leave me to my mysery well im sick of it you think that as soon as your happy everyone is else is gonna fall into to place well its not and I am sick of being scared to tell you that I love you because I do!" zoe screamed he looked at her in shock she loved him as much as he loved her, she took his silence as rejection so she lowered her head and started to walk back into the cave, he movements woke him up he had to stop her from leaving he had to tell her that he loved her too he roared and ran in front of her again "your not going anywhere he growled she looked scared so he gentled his voice "I love you too I hate cho its you I want" he nuzzled her and she nuzzled him back everything was well.
