NALAS' SIDE

  Chapter 1

  " Ma, wheres Simba? " I asked. " I want to play with him. " " I don't know. You should ask his mother. She should know. " " Simbas' mom, have you seen Simba? " " Why, no, I haven't. " " Poo. " I thought.

    That night, Scar said Simba had died along with Mufasa. When he told us that my heart skipped a beat. Scar said he was new king. Then came the hyeanas'.

   Chapter 2

   The next morning I walk out side, ready to play with Simba. Then I remembered. " O look, what do we have here? " a hyeana said, walking up to me. Two more hyeanas walked up to me too. " HHEEEEE HHHEE HHHEEEE! " they kept laughing, on and on. I ran into the cave and cryed, and cried all day. " I'm sorry Nala. I miss Simba too. " Sarabi walked to me, and sat down. " I lost my whole family. You have your mom, but I have no one. " I saw a tear run down Sarabis' cheek. I then relized how sad she really was. " It's time for your bath Nala. " Sarafina called. My mom started licking me, then I remembered how much Simba hated baths. I started to cry. " I'll never see Simba again. He's gone. " I shivered at the word gone. " Nala. Simba is not gone. " my mom said. " What do you mean? " " I mean, he lives, in you. "

  I wentto see Scar to see if he could help me forget Simba and go on. " Scar, I can't get Simba off my mind. " " Simba is dead. Forget about him! " I could not forget. I didn't forget.

    Chapter 3

  I was grown up, and the Pride Lands had changed. I hunted and hunted, but, there was no food. Scar sent me away to get help. So, I left. I noticed a stinky warthog stalking a bug. He heard me, but, he turned away. When he wasn't looking, I sprag. " AAAAAAAHHHHHH! " hescreamed. He got stuck, then a meerkat was trying to save him. " RRRROOOOAAAARRRR! " I turned around to see a huge lion coming toward me. We were fighting, when I pinned him. Then he asked, " Nala? " Who are you? " I asked. " Nala, it's me, Simba. " " SIMBA! WOW! " I had finally found Simba, my best friend.
