Simba and Nala watched proudly as their daughter Kiara and her mate Kovu take their rightful places as king and queen. As the two lions roared Kiara  thought about  her secret  pregnancy and how she was going to tell Kovu she had  not even told her parents only Vitanni. As the ceromony ended Kiara said to Kovu, "Come with me I need to tell you something." Kovu followed Kiara into their cave because no one was there Simba and Nala were out for a walk, and the other lionesses were out hunting for food. "Kovu..." Kiara began she then felt ill, Kovu watched her. Kiara then frowned and she said quickly without a single breathe "KovuIampregnant!" Kovu looked confused "Kiara can you say that a bit slower Kiara nodded slowly "Kovu I am pregnant" Kiara looked up sadly but felt a bit happier when she saw Kovu smiling "that's fantasic Kiara!" He said nuzzling her Kiara smiled "Kovu will you tell my parents I am nervous to?" Kovu grinned "Of course I will tell your parents!" Little did they know Simba and Nala were walking in the doorway. "Tell us what Kovu?" Nala said gently. Simba looked slightly annoyed he knew very well what Kovu was going to say "Simba, Nala Kiara is pregnant with our cub" Nala smiled and went over to her daughter. "That is wonderful news Kiara but you do know you will have more responsibilty don't you?" Kiara looked into her mothers sapphire eyes, "yes I do" Kiara said quietly, Simba looked at Kiara anger in his eyes. Nala spotted this "Simba!" she said angriely " Give your daughter some hope" Simba sighed sadly "Good luck Kiara." he said Kiara smiled at her father, "Thank you dad" she said. Many months past and there came a rainy day when Kiara went into labour. Luckily she wasn't alone She had Kovu to keep her company and Nala to help her. Many hours past of pain for Kiara but she smiled when she had to push a final time and two tiny cubs lay next to her 2 daughters. Kiara smiled tired and weak "Kovu shall we call them Sapphire and Zelda?" Kovu nodded happiely Rafiki appeared he walked out holding Sapphire in his arms followed by Simba, Nala, Kovu and Kiara carrying Zelda in her mouth. Kiara and Kovu looked on proudly they had completed the circle of life for now.Many years past and Zelda and Sapphire grew into strong lionesses soon to start the circle of life again
