and went back to search for his missing friends.

Chapter 6:

After a while of searching, he found them sitting in a cave not to far from his.

"Leave us alone!" Comanded Tasha.

"Look, I'm very sorry for offending you. You're right, I don't deserve to be a guardian angel. I'm barely an angel anyway." He lowered his ears and walked slowley away.

"Where are you going?"

"Home."

"Rusty, wait," he turned his head,"we're sorry for being ticked on you. We forgive you. Right, kids?" They nodded their heads.

"How about you kids go play or something? I gotta tell something to Tasha." Said Rusty. After they went, he sat by her.

"You must be an angel that gets ticked easily."

"I'm not an angel. I told you that. I'm nothing more then an original lion trying to be up there instead to the other place." The sky started to be blacken, lightening shooted down to earth causing a spark to become a fire. They both jumped up and started to look for Tavo and Shela.

"Rusty, I see them!" The cubs both froze in fear. Tasha grabbed Shela as Rusty grabbed Tavo. After a few minutes, the girls' might be in saftey, but the boys' are still in the fire. Rusty heared the angel voice in his head It's time, Rusty. He slid Tavo to a safe part of the grasslands. But Rusty didn't make it out.

"Rusty..." Tasha lowered her ears and led the cubs to a cave for the day. Rain poured over the dying fire. The angel came next to Rusty's lifeless body. With one touch of her paw, he came back to life and took away his coller.

"Go see your friends."

"How can I? I'm invisible because you took away the coller."

"There's one catch to the coller. If the person loses their life, when I take away the coller, they're still able to be seen." He walked over and saw Shela looking at the stars.

"Shela?"

"Rusty? You're alive!"

"Kind of. I have to go back to heaven."

"Why?"

"I earned my halo and wings. I want you to do something for me kid. Take care of Tavo and listen to Tasha. Ok?"

"Please," she put her head on his front paw,"don't go."

"Hey, I will always be be with you. Remember what I said?" She nodded.

"Are you ever going to come back?" He lowered his ears.

"I don't think about that. But maybe. Go to sleep alright?" When she was fast asleep, a heavenly light came down near Rusty. In the light, the voice was heared again.

Rusty, come home...

gel I first saw in heaven."

"Ok."

"Do you ever know what the stars hold?"

"Huh? I thought stars were balls of gas floating millions of miles away."

"I told a kid I'm guardianing is that the angels from heaven look upon on us."

"You're going soft on me!"

"I'm also a dad kind of." He was shocked.

"Me and Tasha were helping the kids look for parents. That didn't work, so there's only me and Tasha to look after them."

"Rusty, I thought you pretended to like them so you can go back." Rusty blew his top off.

"So what?! I don't even care! I'll abandon them somewhere, go someplace else and go to heaven and pretend this never happened! You happy about that plan?!" Juru had a tearful look.

"Look behind you." He did and found everybody backing way.

"No." He whispered.

"Everything you told me was a lie!" Tasha snarled.

"You're not a guardian angel!" yelled the cubs. Soon everyone ran off. Rusty dug his claws into the earth.

"Blast! What should I do, Juru?"

"You need to know. You're the guardian." Rusty ran in search of them.

"Rusty." the angel came.

"Not now."

"Something awful is going to happen."

"It already did. my newfound friends won't look at me."

"Befriend them quick. A bad thing is sure to happen!" She dissapeared.

"Creepy stalking flying nun." He shook his head and went back to search for his missing friends.

LOL! I thought casting Steele as Charlie in "Steele's Heaven" was new, but a lion-based version of All Dogs Go to Heaven is the craziest yet! In a good way, though. And not only that, but the story itself manages to be perfectly serious, even if the theology seems a bit off. All in all, well done. Is there going to be more? *favs*

It was pretty good. But I couldn't help but notice that most
of the story and diologue were identical to All Dogs go to
Heaven 1&2.... Did those films inspire you to write this or
something along those lines?
