After they met when they were little cubs and played their first game of tag they knew it was meant to be. Now they were teens and in love. Unfotunately after a war between the pridelanders and the outsiders Kovu's mother was killed. However Simba took him in. One day Simba and Nala took Kovu and Kiara away for a little talk. "The reason we brought you guys here was because we have something to tell you." Nala said. "One day Nala and I won't be here and we need you and we need you to take over the pridelands" Simba said. "So I'll take Kiara with me for some training and Simba will take Kovu." Nala said "So if there aren't any questions we'll get going ." Simba said. They set off. Now as you probably expect Simba ave Kovu the 'Everthing the Light Touches' run-down. Well he did. However he added something he said: "Being king means that you have a lot respnsiblity so no more fooling around. Being king also means that you have to make decisions. Some may be harder than others but you've got to maake the best decision no matter what anyone says. "But why does the king have to make his own decisions can't he have help?" Kovu asked. "He can have help but like I said before you'd have to make the best one your self." Simba replied. Now Nala had a different plan for Kiara. She took her to Pride Rock and explained the pros and cons of being queen. "Being queen means that you must make the best choices. You also have tothink about how your choice is going to affect the kingdom." "Why does the queen have so much responsibility?" Kiara asked. "Because the king can't always make up his mind." She said. They both laughed. Days after their training session with Kouv and Kiara Simba and Nala became very sick and died. "We're not ready!! We barely got enough info to keep Pride Rock in order!!" Kiara yelled as she paniced. Kovu was just as nervous though he tried to be calm. "Calm down Kiara!" he said but she couldn't. Will Kiara and Kovu panic too much and let the kingdom fall or be strong and come through their tim of need. Stay tuned for Pt.2
