LOST…

Ahadi lay near Uri that morning and watched his to sons Mufasa and Taka (scar as cub) as they played in the grass. Mufasa was hiding and Taka was looking everywhere for him when he saw something move in the long grass “I’ve found you brother!” Taka pounce in the figure only to find it was not his brother.

Taka and the figure both screamed with fright it took a while for them both to calm down Taka was first to speak “who are you?”
the other cub was a girl and she was scared and tried to get away but Mufasa appeared. “Hey who have you got there?” he asked “well I thought she was you but I was wrong and she will not tell me her name” Taka explained “maybe we should get mum and dad” Taka suggested “yeah good idea”.

They came back with Ahadi and Uri “well you weren’t kidding when you said you found someone” Ahadi smiled “awww look at the poor dear she is scared to death” Uri rubbed up against the little cub “can she stay with us can she huh?” asked Mufasa. Uri looked at her son with her violet eyes and whispered “I think we could let her stay for a while”.

A smile came across his face “YES” he and Taka cried “Ahadi she is going to stay with us until we can find her mum and dad don’t you agree?” asked Uri Ahadi gave the small cubs a look but said that she could stay. On the way back to the pride Uri spoke to the cub and found that her name was Jamila and that she was lost “your going to like it here Jamila it’s fun and you will never be board” Taka bounced along.

Some lionesses came to greet them and sniffed Jamila who hid behind Uri “are you sure she can stay here?” asked one “yeah we don’t know where she is from” said another. Uri didn’t take any notice of them and walked into Pride Rock “wanna play?” asked Taka “ummm ok then tag you it!” Mufasa, Taka and Jamila ran off to play tag.

Through the long grass they went and over the rocks until they came to a stream and had a drink “I’ve never had this much fun before” Jamila said to Mufasa and Taka “I said you would never be board” Mufasa grinned. Just then there was a rustle on the bushes “what was that?” asked Jamila “I don’t know but we should get going come”-. Then out of the bushes jumped a hyena!

“RUN GUYS!” shouted Mufasa so they ran for it but the hyena was catching them; Taka looked back at Jamila as they rounded a corner she lost her footing and fell. Taka skidded to a stop “Jamila!” he shouted and ran to her side “leave her alone you stupid hyena!”
the hyena laughed at that “a brave thing to say for a weak little thing like you”. Taka growled and stood in front of Jamila “I will distract him while you get away” Taka told her as he stalked the hyena.

Jamila edged away from Taka slowly and then ran “Mufasa where are you?” she called “over here where’s Taka?” Mufasa came running with Ahadi and Uri “where is the hyena?” demanded Ahadi. Jamila, Mufasa, Uri and Ahadi ran to save Taka.

Ahadi chased the hyena away while Uri asked if Taka was alright “I’m fine mum it was my fault” Taka tried to explain but Ahadi stopped him “that was a bad thing to do go back to the pride and go straight to bed young man”. So back to the pride they all went and later that night Taka met Jamila watching the sunset “hi Taka” she said as she sat down. “Hi Jamila mind if I join you?” “Go ahead”.

They both lay there in silence watching the sun go down until Jamila broke the silence “I thought you could have taken that hyena on he wasn’t that scary”. “You think so? Well I am a good fighter” Taka smiled at her she is pretty he thought “I would have given him a left, then right and then another left” Taka was pretending to fight and making Jamila laugh in the process.

Jamila watched him he is cute she thought “so Taka you think you can take on a hyena what about me I am a good fighter myself” she said “yeah but you’re a girl girls can’t fight” Taka smiled “oh yeah?” With that Jamila pounced knocking Taka to the ground. Puzzled that he didn’t see it coming he smiled “ok that was a cheap shot for a guy that wasn’t ready for it come here let me show you how its done”. Taka and Jamila had a play/fight and Jamila won every time “we should get back now huh?” she asked “yeah come on”.

Taka walked with Jamila to pride rock Uri was waiting for them “where were you two? I have been waiting for you come on its bed time”. Both Taka and Jamila went to bed and slept until late in the morning “hey wake up you guys!” Mufasa woke them up “its breakfast time”.
Jamila and Taka got up and had breakfast “who’s up for a walk today?” asked Mufasa “yeah sounds good” Jamila smiled.

Taka, Mufasa and Jamila set off after the lecture from Ahadi “and don’t wonder from the pride lands” he called but the cubs were to far away to hear him say that the herd of wildebeest were going to migrate soon. Mufasa lead the way down the path and looked back at Taka and Jamila who were staring at each other “will you two hurry up?”. Taka and Jamila hurried along and sat next to Mufasa and for the rest of the day they played and rolled around.
