things, we had to lose that battle to the Pridelanders? I won't tolerate it."
He saw Spotty shrug helplessly.
"We were outnumbered and we weren't battle trained correctly," Spotty said with disgust. "I mean, how could we NOT lose to the Pridelanders?
"NEVER say that in front of me," Zira snarled, her fur raised and her claws unsheathed. "I believe we can win one battle at the least... Scar did it, so why can't I?"
"Well you're not Scar," Spotty pointed out.
Zira sighed, and began to clean her wounds. Ni knew this was the perfect time.
"Zira!" he called.
"Yes?" Zira answered with some dissapointment when she saw Ni.
"Well, I was just wondering if our deal was done yet...?"
Zira growled at him.
"No!" she snarled. "Until we get the Pridelands, our deal is NOT done."
Ni tried to hide his anger. Simba was kicked out, so why couldn't it be done?
"But why?" Ni asked. "Simba is out of the Pridelands, so he's no longer a threat to you. What do you need me for?"
Zira growled at him.
"Quiet!" she snarled. "Until I have taken over the Pridelands, then you can have your precious Yejide. Until then, get OUT."
Ni felt a growl coming up his throat, but he swallowed it down. If Zira wouldn't give him Yejide... well, he would just have to get her himself.
Simba
As Simba walked out of Kula and Chumvi's den, he felt the hot glare of the evening sun raking on him. It was getting warm out. Summer was on it's way.
It turned out he was going back to the Pridelands wtih Kula and Chumvi.
"Are you sure?" Chumvi asked Kula for the millionth time. "What makes you sure we can trust him?"
Kula rolled her eyes.
"What makes me sure I can trust you?" Kula growled. "You betrayed Simba, so how can I be sure that your not going to betray me?"
Chumvi looked hurt. He thought Kula knew that he would never leave her.
"Because you can," he said calmly. "I just don't think this is a good idea. If Zira has taken over the Pridelands, I mean... who knows what will happen."
Kula growled at him.
"Fine," she snarled. "You can stay here then."
And with that being said, Kula trotted over to where Simba was.
"Sorry about that," she said sincerely. "Chumvi is still distrustful of you."
"I don't see why," Simba growled. "Wasn't he the one who attacked me?"
Kula sighed.
"It can be tough to figure him out," she said, watching Chumvi go back into the den wistfully. "I just thought it was going to work out between us, but I guess not..."
Simba turned toward the sunset.
"Come on," Simba said to Kula. "Let's go home."
Deleted scenes:
Well, I was having a hard time figuring out how the Six New Adventures characters intertwined with The Lion King characters without making them pop up during movie scenes. It was really frustrating.
Chumvi and Kula weren't going to be mates at first, but I decided that they should be. Even though Kula finds out Chumvi has a dark side, she still loves him.
