A few days after Mufasa's coronation to present him as the future king, he was still a cub and had yet to learn. His brother and him wrestled in the dirty mud getting themselves filthy. 

"Hi Mufasa! Hi Taka! How ya doing guys?" Sarabi asked the two princes who stopped tugging on eachother's ears and stared at the two females in front of them. 

"We're fine thanks for asking Sarabi, hi Sarafina!" Mufasa replied kindly. Taka welcomed them to and that was when they went on adventures, Taka was a bit more smaller than the other cubs so he stayed close to Mufasa.

"Why'd ya bring him for! He does nothing but whine for your mother..." One of the cubs groaned. Sarafina smacked him with her paw.

"Be nice to the prince! Or pay!" Sarafina said in Taka's place. They decided all to have a great race and obviously they had to slow down so Taka's small feet could sprint pass them to.

"See what I mean, this shrimp is worth nothing, that's why Ahadi chose Mufasa as future king and not Taka!" He grumbled again. All of them gasped and Taka was about to say something.

"YOU REMEMBER WHO MY FATHER IS IDIOT! HE CHOSE MUFASA BECAUSE HE IS THE ELDEST! SO SHUT IT!" He shouted, his chest puffed up. The cub chuckled again.

"Haha! Your nothing to your parents Taka! YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE HAHA!" He laughed. Taka shedded one tear and ran for it.

"TAKA! WAIT! TAKA!" Mufasa shouted. He turned his face to the cub and kicked him so he fell in the river as Sarabi and Sarafina chased after the youngest prince.

"Oh Taka! Don't worry about what he says. He is ju..." Sarafina stopped.

"GO AWAY! I WANT TO BE ALONE! GO!" He shouted. His paws on his head, hiding his face from the girls.

A few more minutes after wards Ahadi arrived and nudged his son with his heart shaped nose. Taka jumped at the sight of his father but felt relaxed when seeing him.

"Taka, Sarabi and Sarafina told me I'd find you here, they were right my son..." Ahadi chuckled but then his face went to a sad expression. "What's the matter my boy?" He asked.

"The other cubs...They say that you don't like me and that you favor Mufasa." Taka said.

"That is not true! I love you both as same as I love your mother!" Ahadi told his son. Taka could get a faint smile.

"Dad..." Taka asked.

"Yes son?" Ahadi replied. Taka rubbed himself against Ahadi's front legs.

"They said that I had to leave when I am older, is it true daddy? Will I have to?" He asked still sobbing.

"Oh no Taka! You are always welcome here my son! And you know what, maybe I should teach those cubs a lesson or two, you know what I mean!" He licked his now smiling youngest cub. and they walked back home to where Uru and Mufasa lay worried about them.

"Taka! Taka! You are fine!" Uru gasped getting up and nuzzling her son with her triangular nose. "I was once like you Taka, I got picked on for having this nose in my pride, back then that's when I met Ahadi and your grandpa Mohatu, your father's father." Uru explained to her son. Mufasa ran to his brother and put his paw over his small body.

"Whatever happens Taka! I'm always with you!" Mufasa stood proudly. Taka smiled at his brother as Sarabi and Sarafina headed their way and the lion cub behind them.

"I'm so sorry for being mean to you Sabs and Safs.." He said to them. Then he peeked at the cub.

"It's alright Taka!" They both sang.

"Taka! I want to say sorry for being mean to you while we were racing, you are a bit younger than us..." He said. Taka accepted his friendly appology and all became friends again!

He hung around with Mufasa's friends and became real close with Sarafina, the two were now inseperable and he thought he had found his possible future mate who he could have a big family with, lot's of lion cubs and lioness cubs, all looking like him but with Sarafina's deep Blue eyes, nose and beauty... Oh Taka had HIS future planned already, but what was with mufasa, he needs a mate and a heir to succeed in being a king. And everyone knew he would choose Sarabi, wise, cute, vunreble Sarabi...Only her and Sarafina wre the only females in the pride, along with that weird cub Zira. He did not like her AT ALL!  Sarafina was his, Sarabi was Mufasa, his mother was his father's and heck knows who Zira is with... Probably she was going to move away somewhere else with a rogue male, mate with him, produce cubs of her own. Taka didn't care he cared for his family, his pride and most importantly, Sarafina and now he would have a bright future, full of joy, giggles, hope, beauty, strength, and him...being stronger, muscular and boy he would be like his father Ahadi....Or so he thought he would. Taka felt like everything was perfect, he had his future planned, he loved his brother, his father...But things would change in the future, darkness would take over as legend says it...He turns against his brother, his father but still deeply loves his understanding mother, the only one with Sarafina who understood him properly, who looked inside his heart and knew he was a good person.
