running off to the watering hole. “Don’t mind her Tabu…she’s still hurt that’s all” Kulka said Chuni stood up “But she should be!” he said getting in Tabu’s face. “If He had never left” He said turning to look at the others “Tamba would still be here! And out pride wouldn’t have been reduced to this….but you” he said turning to Tabu “you betrayed us, abandoned us, you, you whom we call prince… Tamba’s death is on you” Chuni said before running after Tahoe. “Tabu” Maltu said looking at the young princes’ face. “no he is right…and one way or another I will fix this…I will”

“Tahoe!” Chuni called running up to the distraught Lioness. “Tahoe” he said again nuzzling her. “it’s not right Chuni he won’t grow up and this pride needs him to!” She said. Chuni pulled away and looked down at her sadly “I know I’m frustrated with him to, but what if it where you and what if senu were senu…how would you take it all” Chuni added in. Tahoe looked down “I don’t know what I’d do but it would be a whole lot more than what Tabu is doing” she huffed. “Come on Tahoe, you and I both know we are being far too harsh, everyone in the prides been hurt in some way, we’re not the only ones.” Chuni said. Tahoe looked into the dirt and kicked a pebble. “we need to stop being so stuck in our own gloom and try to fix the larger shadow that we are all stuck in…we’ve got to stop this self centered tirade we’ve been on, we both know it” Chuni said in a stern voice. “I guess, but so does he” Tahoe said walking back to priderock. Chuni sighed and shook his head.

Meanwhile Senu sat in his den playing with frightened bird “would you just eat it, stop playing with yo ur food senu” Alapa said. “your never any fun Alapa” Senu sneered. Alapa rolled her eyes “because your position is to serious to act in such a way” Alapa lectured Senu rolled his eyes and continued touturing the bird. “you’ll never beat your brothers that way not Lubu nor Tabu, and you call yourself a king” Alapa Growled senu stood up quickly the bird took it’s chance to fly away but Alapa caught it by the neck and ended its life. “You know nothing of what I can do…you just let air pour from your mouth but remember your place you are not my queen” Senu roared. Alapa glared at him “you talk such big talk but you know you need me you’d not have gotten this far without me…Your like a horse, I’ve lead you to the water and your too stupid to drink!” Alapa barked. Senu rolled his eyes. “Since when did you become my mother” Senu muttered lying back down. Alapa kicked the bird to him. “Eat it” she said before going to walk out. “King Senu…the lioness are back from hunting” a small think light furred Lioness named Hibiki said her bright blue eyes shining with admoration. Alapa stoped in her tracks and watched the two. Senu smirked “really is that so, thank you so much my dear for tell me this news” Senu said flirting and laying on thick fake gratitude. Hibiki blushed “it wasn’t much trouble King Senu” Hibiki said flirting back. Alapa gagged and whipped around she slaped the Lioness with her paws leave a scratch on her face. “get out you tramp” she hissed Hibiki waste no time running away. Senu went into a fit of laughter. Alapa growled and attacked him, Senu kept on laughing. Alapa pinned him “learn some respect! You want me on your side, because if I leave, Tabu will slay you and everyone whom called you king” she roared before exiting the den.

Back at the pridelands a Male lion limped along up to pride rock carrying a small thin female on his back, she was injured and looked starved. “Help! Someone help us! My sister she’s hurt and she’s ill please!” The male called, Tabu looked down from pride rock and spotted them, he quickly down to them. “What happened?” Tabu asked urgently. “We were attacked by Senu’s Forces, My sister, she tried to fight them so I could get away, please help her!” The male pleaded.  “Ok we will, but please calm down, what is your name?” Tabu said taking the female off of the males back and carrying her himself. “Thank you, thank you, my names Asai and my sister she’s Asambo.” The male said his amber eyes shining with hope. “Well Asai you and your sister are welcome to stay here as long as you like, your safe now, and we will help both you and your sister get well and back on your feet” Tabu said with a warm smile.

In the Infirmary Den Roody and her sister tended to Asai and Asambo  “you poor things, running into Senu’s army just the two of you” Roe said her black eyes filled with sympathy. “senu is just horrible” Reema added in Roody nodded “yes but he shall soon be stopped, and you two are safe now” she said. Asai smiled meekly “thank you ladies for helping me and my sister, will she be ok?” he asked timidly as if afraid of the answer Roe smiled “your sister will be fine, she just needs rest, water, and food now and then she’ll be right as rain!” Roe said this and Asai smiled to. “Thank goodness….i couldn’t lose her to I mean I’m the elder one I should have been the one holding them off” he said with a frown. “Don’t be like that, it is over now” Ratch a rough looking lioness said. Asai nodded and watched them as they worked on Asambo.
