know it's like midnight?" he groaned.

"I know Carter. But, if Mufasa wakes up and sees us here, we are DEAD." he hissed. Carter reluctantly got up and began waking Luna up while K went to tell sarafina goodbye. He stood there frozen at the scene. She slept soundly with Nala in between her arms, and he swore he could see Mak sleeping behind her. He didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay with her the rest of his life, which probably if he was right, wasnt going to be much longer.

"Good bye my love. Tell our daughter of our stories." he whispered, and ran to the mouth of the cave with Luna and Carter. Carter gently licked Luna's muzzle, while tears streamed down her face. She kept crying something about how her brother would never really know her.

"Come on Grace." Carter said. Luna ran with them, but then collapsed as they entered the OutLands. K could here the whistling of wind through the trees, and it made him shiver.

"Put her on my back, she is not going to walk Carter." he said, while grunting as he put her on his strong back, well sort of. He walked back to the cave and lay down, gently rolling the heart broken Luna onto the ground. Her face was so tear stained 90% of the mud had washed off to show her blood red red eyes. She stood up and slapped Carter with her paw, claws unsheathed.

"NEVER CALL ME GRACE. THAT NAME IS NOT WORTHY OF YOUR MOUTH, ONLY...."

"Makeus's? Luna, he's DEAD! He died 6 months ago!" Carter screamed, blood dripping from his head. His eyes were full of hate at the moment, and K just watched the dispute.

"CARTER! MY MOTHER JUST HAD A CUB THAT WILL PROBABLY NEVER KNOW ME!" she cried. She collapsed on the ground, and cried herself to sleep. Next to her, Carter laid down and put his head on the ground, ashamed.

Luna had a dream that night that everything was normal, except Mak was gone and she had been reunited with her family. Sarabi and Mufasa cuddled her and Simba as if nothing had happened. Sarafina, Lyn, K, and Nala were a reunited family as well. She watched, but everything seemed frozen, because no body moved. Then, Mak materialized in front of her.

"MAK?" she exclaimed. He nodded and gently licked her muzzle. he was the same age, but he had an corona of...... power. He looked like he had the day he died, except happier.

"Luna grace, I'm here, stop crying. Your 12 remember?" he said, smiling a bit. Luna wiped a tear with her paw and put her head in the crook of Mak's neck.

"Makeus, I miss you, so much. I don't know what to do. After you died, I was exiled with Lyn's ex fiance, and K. We have been here 6 months and just got back from your sister's and my brother's birth. I can't stop crying because Carter called me grace. No one is allowed to call me that except YOU." she said. Mak turned his head to look at her.

"Luna, I love you too. but, I am deceased, and you need to move on. Carter has a point, but..." he froze. "Who delivered my sister?"

"K did. He has been so upset since we have been exiled Mak. You should have seen him when he was sleeping next to your mom. He looked happy."

"I am so happy Luna. It was my time, and DONT put yourself down, it is not your fault for me falling off that cliff. I had amazing years with you, and thank god for that. Now, awake my love, and remember all I said. You need to remember me in your heart, but move on with your life." he said, than began to fade away.

Chapter 5-  (2 years later)

Simba woke up, more excited then ever. His mom had told him last night she would tell him about his sister today. He remembered some things about her, but she only came when possible. She had told him he was going to be a great king and words couldn't describe how much he meant to her. But why hadn't Dad told him about her? Why only mom?

Nala walked up to him and nudged him.

"SIMBA!" she hissed. The cub stirred and fluttered his eyes open.

"What Nala?"

"I want to go to the Out Lands! My mom told me my dad was there!"

(Luna's POV)

Luna woke up to absolutely no one in the cave, so she thought. Next to her a big G was carved in the wall. Carter was gone, for at least a little while. But then Luna saw two small shapes in the shadows. she called out to them.

"hello?" she called. The first one that came out was small with pale blue eyes. She recognized her immediately.

"Nala? Daughter of Sarafina?" she asked. The cub nodded and lay down. One more kid in the shadows of the cave.    

"Who lies in the shawdows of the ashamed one named Luna?" she called, and another cub came into sight. He had red eyes and looked alot like Mufasa. She gasped. 

"Simba? It is Luna!" she said. Simba stared at her blankly, then smiled.

"Luna!" he exclaimed, running to her and giving her a kiss. He laid down next to her and fell asleep.  
 

*************** (The next day)

Luna woke up to no body next to her. Tears gathered in her eyes as she remembered the last night of K's life. Last night. She stood up and stretched her hind legs, walking out into the morning. She remembered how Carter had run out last night with Simba and Nala to the Pride Lands, taken them home, and looked for K.

"Luna, I'll be back as soon as I can. Can you watch the cubs?" K asked. Luna nodded, sullenly licking Simba. Nala stood there next to Carter. She looked terrified, like she had never seen K in her life.

"Daddy, dont go please." she whined. K licked his daughter once, and ran out of the cave. Nala began to cry, but Carter sat there and sung her to sleep. Cold wind seeped into the cave as Simba stared at his sister in shock.

"What is wrong brother?" she asked.

"Mom is going to freak out on me."

"No, soon, Carter is going to take you all home when K gets back. I promise you'll be ok, little brother."

2 hours later-

"Luna, K has been gone two hours."  Carter said, tearing off a piece of antelope for Nala and Simba to eat. Luna sat up from a long, miserable, sleep. Her dreams were terrible.

"I'll go get him."

 He had taken them home and hadn't come back. She was worried.

"I better go look for him." she whispered to herself. 

What she discovered changed her life. Literally. 

Chapter 6- 

Luna ran outside and into the Pride Lands. She ran along side the gorge, noticing the herd on the move. 

That's odd.

Luna peeked over the side of the gorge, and her heart lurched. Below, the herd WAS on the move, but a flash of gold was sprinting in front. A slinky black figure walked several feet below her. Scar, that evil witch.

"SIMBA!" she screamed. Luna leaped down several feet and followed the stampede. She thought she could hear Simba crying. Scar saw her, and his eye brows furrowed.

"Luna! Get out of there!" a voice yelled. Luna looked above her to see Zazu, her father dodo, flying above her. She could make out Scar and Mufasa off to her right, but she ignore the sight, and returned her focus to finding Simba.

Come on Luna, focus. He's in the front, inch your way through.

Luna inched her way through the stampede and gripped something soft in her jaws.

"DADDY! HELP ME!" Simba screamed. She climbed onto a tree as the endless stampede continued.

"DAD! OVER HERE!" Luna screamed. Mufasa jumped into the stampede just as Simba flew through the air, and she held her breath. Luckily, he caught him and ran forward. She lay there motionless until Zazu found her afterwards.

"Can you get up?"

Before she could answer, a roar pierced her ears and Luna began to cry hysterically. To her left, her father fell to his doom, and at the top....

Was Scar. With the evilest grin on his face.

I am going to kill that lion when this is over!

She stood up and ran over to a ledge where she could see Simba, Mufasa, and Scar perfectly. She could hear her brother's hysterical weeping somewhere in front of her.

"Poor kid, I cant believe he only knew his father for so little time." she whispered to herself.

Daddy.

It felt like it had been an eternity since she had said that word. And now, the nightmare was over. Scar had killed her father out of cold blood, and she had done nothing about it. And now SImba was gone, and she had no idea where he was.

Chapter 7-

Luna ran out of the gorge and bolted right for the cave a few yard away from Pride Rock. She ran inside and collapsed at the sight of K's body, along with Makeus's. She began to cry, and was found by Carter later that night. He was covered in dust and dirt and had a small scratch on his cheek, but other wise he was fine.

"Luna! Whats wrong?"

She didn't answer and continued to sob.

Scar ran into the cave, and was immediately pinned by Carter.

"What did you do to her?"

"NOTHING! I DID NOTHING!" Scar screamed, and ran for Pride Rock. Luna stood up shakily, but collapsed on the ground again.

"Carter, I am so heart broken I cant move." she whimpered.

"What happened baby?" he asked.

"My dad was killed by Scar and I have no freaking idea where Simba is," she whispered. "He ran away after the stampede."

(2 years later)
