"My dearest Luna...." Mufasa whispered, tears gathering in his eyes. He shook his head and turned to K. "Khufu, mate of my wife's bestfriend. You have been sentenced to exile for the rest of your life. Any one disagree?"

No one dared to disagree with the king of Pride Rock, so no one spoke up. Well, except for Sarafina. She immediately stood up and screamed, "K! NO! DON'T MAKE HIM LEAVE!" Sarabi sighed and helped keep her pinned down. K nodded calmly, said his goodbyes, and walked outside, as if he was waiting for something.

"Luna Grace, step forward." Luna stepped forward with the calmest look on her face. She had been taught to act calmly and not rash in these kinds of situations. She stepped forward next to Mak's body, and choked back a sob.

"Yes father?" she said.

"I need to hear your side of the story. Just be quick." he said sternly. She quickly explained her side, and nodded. He turned to his daughter, who was acting very calm, just like he had taught her.

"Luna Grace, you are exiled until further notice."

Luna's jaw dropped and she looked to her mother for help; but she was bawling her eyes out and begging Mufasa to change his mind. He shook his head, and the Pride Meeting was adjorned.

"Luna, I love you sweety." he said. Luna leaned forward and gave him a small kiss.

"You did your best Daddy. I'll be fine.  But, what about chia?" 

"She'll stay here. You'll go with K." he replied, giving her a kiss. He walked over and simply lay down. 

"Goodbye Dad, Mom."

 Chapter 4- 

Luna stepped outside and stood next to K, who was still talking to Sarafina who had calmed down, finally. She hid behind a rock listening to the conversation they were having. It didn't sound.... good.

"Honey, listen to me. If I can, I will come back when the cub is born, but if I dont, name it Nala or Jubal. Call him J, for me honey? Please?" he whispered. She nodded and sullenly walked back inside, but then Lyn and Carter walked out. Carter gave Luna an encouraging smile, and she stepped out of her hiding place.

He's so cute. I love the way he smiles at me; the way he let's me cuddle up to him. But I'm turning 12 tomorrow, and he's 13. I wonder if he has called off the wedding to run off with me......  She knew it wasnt meant to be; unless he DID call off the wedding. Carter walked over to her.

"Listen Luna, Lyn has been a snob to me all week.  She's treating me like garbage, her mother, and now K. I still wonder if she ever loved Mak," he said, staring in her direction.

"She USED to be nice Carter. Before she met you, she was an nice person. Now, she's so rude even Mak was afraid to go near her. I wonder if she's pregnant." Luna replied. "She's that kind of person who would go mate with a rogue or something. That's what K was, a rogue in the outlands."

Carter's eyes widened and he gently licked Luna. Lyn saw this and immediately spazzed out. She screamed and attacked Luna, while Carter smacked her aside, and she stared at him horrified. Her eyes were as big as golf-balls, and her face was as white as paper. 

"YOU TRAITOR! WAIT UNTIL I TELL MUFASA!" she screamed.

"Go ahead and tell Mufasa, because I am leaving with Luna, I'll probably get exiled for it anyways." he said, and walked next to K with Luna. They all looked at each other and ran as fast as they could to the Out Lands.

*********** (6 months later)

Luna and Carter ran into their quaint little cave laughing their heads off. Behind them, K was trailing in. He looked hurt; sick; lonely; and angry. His eyes drooped so they could see he was tired. He needed Sarafina, really bad.

"Hey guys, don't you think the women have had their cubs by now?" Carter asked, taking a huge bite of the zebra they had caught while illegally sneaking into the Pride Lands. Luna sat next to him, her red eyes sparkling in the fire light. The sun was just beginning to set on the horizon, making the evening chilly.

"We could go-" K said, then his ears pricked back at a cry that sounded alot like Sarafina. He turned to the mouth of the cave while Carter and Luna crouched. Carter listened intently too, and he nodded.

"Thats either Lyn, Sarafina, or Sarabi." he said. "We could bathe in mud and make it look like we are not outsiders."

Luna nodded and ran putside with Carter, K trailing behind.

They bathed in mud and fakely limped into the Pride Lands. A fellow lioness who was friends with Lyn was going to take them in. Her name was Keziah, and she had once liked Mak. She was 14, with a small cub and a mate. Keziah was waiting for them near the water hole.

"Hey guys," she whispered. "Are you ready?"

Luna could barely make out the figure there. It was almost pitch black, so she could only see Keziah's skinny shape. She reminded him of Scar that day.......

Luna sobbed lightly as they walked to Pride Rock. At the base of the steps, a 12 year old lioness was standing guard, and she looked familiar. She had green eyes and brown fur. She was skinny, but still had a figure.

"Hello Chia," Keziah said. "I found 3 lions in need of a place to sleep tonight. They are run aways from the Keshu Pride up north."

Chia looked at them all suspiciously.

"Is that mud or tar?" she asked.

"Mud." K replied. Chia nodded and walked us inside. Inside, was a pretty scary scene. Lyn, sarabi, and Sarafina were all laying doown next to each other in the middle of the cave, lions and lionesses surrounding them. Sarafina and Sarabi were screaming out in pain. Mufasa looked like he may pass out from excitement and confusion.

"My king, Keziah has discovered 3 rogue lions from the Keshu Pride up north. May they stay here, your excellency?" Chia asked, holding her head up in Pride. Mufasa nodded, then suspiciously looked at the 3.

"What are your names?"

"Ora, Cuna, and Lee." Keziah replied.

I cant believe Chia! She's such a show off!  Luna thought.

"my name is Cuna." Carter said high pitched. Luna stifled a laugh.

"My name is Ora." she said like Carter so her dad wouldn't recognize her voice.

"And My name is lee." K said, a little bit lower then what everyone was used too. Mufasa nodded and welcomed them with a big heart.

"Good, and welcome to the Pride. Now, Chia and Keziah, I need one of you to come with me to find Zazu. Rafiki is sick and there is no one to help deliver Sarabi and Sarafina's cub," He looked directly at Luna and Carter. "Could you too do it? Did the Keshu Pride teach you how?" He looked really worried.

Luna nodded, along with Carter. "Yes sir, King.... um, what is your name again?"

"Mufasa. Thank you, I am grateful. I want chia, and the rest of the Pride, including Lyn and Noah, to come with me. Leave Ora, Cuna, Lee, Sarafina, and Sarabi in here." he said, gave a nod to them, and took off. Luna immediately pawed some mud off her face and shook her fur so her mother would be able to recognize her. She ran over to her and began to weep.

"Mom," she said. Sarabi looked at her and stifled a scream.

"Luna? What are you doing here?" she whispered, giving out a roar that probably the whole valley could hear.

"I'm going to help you deliver your cub. I remember how, thanks to you." she said, and took a deep breath. "NOW, PUSH!"

In twenty minutes, Sarabi's cub was out. Tears gathered in Luna's eyes as she held up the cub.

"It's a boy!" she exclaimed. "ITS A BOY!"

"Simba." Sarabi said, licked the tiny prince, and handed him to Luna so she could sleep. Next to her, Sarafina was licking a cub the size of Simba. It was a pale tan.

"Nala." K said, tears forming in his eyes. "Her name is Nala."

Luna whispered to her brother, who was sleeping soundly in her arms. She couldn't believe she had a brother after so many years of waiting. Carter, K, Sarafina and Nala were asleep to her right. K was sleeping with his arm around Sarafina and Nala, and Luna couldn't help but smile.

Simba, words can not describe how much you mean to me. It's been 6 months since I have been in here, and I am so glad today I got to witness your birth. you mean everything to me; and I will PROTECT you. Your the kind of cub I want to have with Carter, only 4 more years until that happens of course. Mom and Dad probably wont tell you much about me, the kind of person I am, because I am so ashamed of myself. I know Mom will tell you some stuff about me, but that wont be enough. You'll make a great king little brother, Te Amo.

That night, K woke up carter and Luna. He was happy, and for the first time in 6 months. But he knew he'd neevr be able to come back here. Sarafina would tell Mufasa everything. He silently and quietly stood up and walked over to Carter, who was sleeping next to Luna. He gently pawed the 13 year old cub, and he stirred.
