have some love for her uncle, but he was a monster. She knew that at heart. Mufasa had raised her to not ever talk to Scar, but she had to. She had always wanted to go to the Elephant GraveYard.

"See you later Mak. Tell my mom hi for me." and with that she was gone. Like she had materialized somewhere else. Makeus sighed and ran back to Pride Rock to find his mother, sister, father, Sarabi, and King Mufasa. Sarafina was talking to Lyn, who was smiling at every other word.

"Hey mom." he said.

Luna walked into a large cave below Pride Rock that was made especially for Scar. It was dark and cold, and Luna could distinctly see Scar's bony figure chasing a mouse in the dark.

"Uncle Scar?"

Scar jumped in shock and hit his head on the ceiling.

"LUNA! you scared the crap out of me!"

"Sorry," she said quickly. "What can you tell me about the Elephant Graveyard?"

"It's a dangerous place Luna," He said unsympathetically. "You shouldn't go there without your father."

Luna thought about this for a minute. She knew for a fact he wouldn't let her go. He had said so himself.

"I want to take Mak there." she whispered. Scars slinky body walked towards her. His green eyes were disturbingly bright.

"You and Mak?" he said, obviously disgusted. "Really?"

She nodded and walked out.

"Thanks Scar!" she exclaimed. "For no help at all."
 

  When she got back to the den, she almost started busting out laughing. Sarafina was pinned down by several lionesses. She was HUGE, and she seriously looked like she was on steroids. In the corner, Makeus was silently sleeping with a small smile on his face.

Mak is adorable when he sleeps. That little smile, the way he breathes.....

She stood there staring at him when her father walked up. He looked like he seriously needed a nice run, and he had huge black bags under his eyes. Sarabi walked up next to him and laid down. She didn't look much better.

"Luna." her father said. Nothing.

"LUNA!"

Luna shook her head so hard her teeth rattled. That's when she noticed her parents standing behind her. She felt like a lobster. Small and blood red. Behind her, Mak was waking up.

"Hi mommy, Hi Daddy." she said. Mufasa turned to Sarabi, who nodded. She looked like she could use a good night sleep.

"Luna, we want you to know that we are having a cub. And we want you to name it."

Her mouth dropped. The 2nd cub in years, and they wanted her to name it?

"If it was a girl, Adiana, if it is a boy, Simba, which means the Lion King." she replied, and Mufasa nodded. He smiled and went back to lay down. Sarabi stayed and talked to Luna for a little bit.

"I hope it is a boy. Simba, I love that name." she said.

"Mom, can me and Mak go back to the water hole?" she asked, not noticing Makeus walking up behind her. Sarabi nodded, and walked over to help keep Sarafina pinned down. She seemed to be the only one who could keep her calm. Mak pawed her thigh and smiled.

"Ready?" he asked, and she nodded. Today, was the day she told Mak she was in love with him. Today was the day they were going to start getting serious. But as they were leaving, Lyn intercepted them.

"Hey Luna. Going out with your boyfriend?" she retorted, and what was funny was she had a southern accent. She had grown more beautiful over the past several years, her eyes were stormy grey, and her fur had grown out more. She was K's Sarafina. She already had a boyfriend, and his name was Carter.  And when she was 14, they were going to get married.

"We're going to the water hole Lyn. Don't you got anything else better to do?"

"Nope." she said, and walked away. Together, Luna and Mak ran outside.

Chapter 3-

When they got far enough away they could talk alone, Luna smiled and jumped so she could pin Mak out of no where.

"Where are we going?" Mak said.

"The Elephant Graveyard. I can't wait for you too see it, Mak. My uncle Scar said it was AMAZING." she said.

"You talked to Scar!? Luna he's a maniac!" he said.

"Let's go Mak. It'll be fun." she said. Mak stood up and glared at her, and they slowly began walking through the Pride Lands, taking in the beauty of it all. Mak took a sip of water as they walked past the watering hole. The light of the sun reflected in his eyes. He looked so peaceful, so at rest. She couldn't believe it.

"Mak, did you hear my mom is pregnant?" she asked. He stared at her, perplexed.

"No! I can't believe what's going on in my life. It's so..."

"Odd?"

Well, let's see. Your mom is pregnant, Your dad is gone, and your sister is getting married in less than three days. Then, she'll probably be pregnant soon too. What else is new?

"Luna, we're here."

Luna shook out of her to see a large ravine spread out in front of her. Several large jagged rocks stood up like spires so you couldnt see the rest of the GraveYard. She thought it was awesome, but in Mak's eyes...... He was terrified. No one, and I mean NO ONE, knew about Mak's height scare except his parents.

"Mak? Are you alright?" Luna asked. Her red eyes seemed to be glowing as if she was in a trance. Her voice seemed more older. She looked different. He knew something was up. This wasn't the Luna he was in love with.   

 "You ok? Luna?" he asked nervously, realizing she was inching him towards the edge of the cliff, where it was at least a 40 foot fall down....... Mak shuddered and turned to face his beloved. "Luna, I love you! I know your in there! WAKE UP! LUNAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

Mak fell over the cliff into the GraveYard, screaming Luna's name until he faded out of sight. Just before he went silent, Luna regained her senses and screamed in reply, "MAK! NO!" She jumoed over and fortunately, landed on her feet at the bottom. Smoke billowed around Mak's body from smoke stacks randomly placed throughout the Grave Yard.

"Luna." he whispered. She ran over to him and quickly scanned for injuries. She could tell just by looking at him he had broken his legs, arm, ribs, nose, and he was bleeding vaginally. He began to shut his eyes, while Luna quickly lapped up the blood.

"Mak, don't die on me. I love you." she whispered through her sobs.

Mak's final words were, "At least I got to spend 11 wonderful years of life with you, Luna Grace...." He shut his eyes, and his chest moved no more.

"My Last Goodbye to the one I loved. Death Of Makeus, Son of K and Sarafina, my bestfriend, my true love, and my hero." she whispered, and desperately threw his body onto her back to get him back to Pride Rock. She looked around for an exit, but had no such luck. The only way she was going to get up that cliff..

Was by herself. Without Mak's body.

She felt guilty for leaving him there, but she had no other way. In about an hour, she had carefully climbed the cliff and ran back to Pride Rock, tears streaming down her face. She got up to the promontory and cried until Lyn and Carter walked up to her.

"Luna? Where's Mak?" Carter said. Luna choked back another sob and set her head down. Carter knew she wanted to talk, just not with Lyn around. Carter nodded, stood up, and turned to Lyn, his fiance. She looked so pretty, but her personality was not one of interest.

"Lyn, could you go away for a while? I need time with Luna."

Lyn looked offended. Luna heard this and it made her almost laugh, but then she knew Lyn would attack her if she did.

"No! Do you like her?!"

Now it was time for Carter to look offended. But, then he devised a little plan to get her to go away.

"I know what you want to do. Wanna go swimming?" he said, in a romantic  tone. Lyn squealed and took off for the private section of stream surrounded by bushes. Luna laughed and stood up.

"That was GREAT!" she exclaimed. Carter laughed and let Luna cuddle up to him.

"So, seriously. What happened?"

Luna quickly explained what happened as Carter keenly listened to her. He watched the sunset began to sink so night could finally come. Lyn was walking back as Luna finished her story. Carter's  jaw dropped and he choked back tears.

"Poor Sarafina. This is going to be hard on her and her cub." he whispered. "You better go in. I'll deal with Lyn."

Luna walked inside to the most horrifying thing in the den. The whole Pride gathered, with K by Sarafina's side, covered in dust, mud, and other assortments of the Earth. Mak's body lay next to a small cub a little younger cub Luna knew well. Her girl bestfriend, Chia. "Let's get started with this Pride meeting. First, let's start with K. What happened?" Mufasa asked.

"I have killed a fellow lioness. Her name was Shoi." he said. Alot of lionesses gasped, and Mufasa nodded calmly. He turned to Chia, who had just stood up to turn to the King.

"My dear Chia. Can you tell us what you have found in the dreaded graveyard?"

Chia nodded and turned to the whole Pride. "My dear pride members, i have come to tell you of what I have found. Mufasa and Sarabi, your daughter, Luna Grace, the future queen of this pride, has
