The laughter of cubs playing echoes right across the plains. From the entrance of Hazina you are able to see the two cubs bouncing around in the wide-open savannah. It was early morning and Naasir and Sanura were already wide-awake and making loud noise. Out of the tall grass you can see Naasir running towards the stream. "Naasir wait up!" Sanura yells ahead. "No you speed up." Naasir stops and turns to make sure that Sanura is still with him. "So what is so great about the stream?" Sanura asked in a confused tone. "No look at the water" Naasir commands while laughing. "Yeah so it is just my reflection" Sanura replies even more confused. "Look closer" Naasir says in an almost wise tone. Sanura lowers her head and tries to look behind to see Naasir without moving her head. "Yeah ok now what?". SPLASH! Sanura flies into the stream. Naasir remains on land laughing hysterically. Sanura lifts her head out of the water glaring at Naasir. "What was that for" Sanura yells. She jumps out and pulls Naasir into the water with her. The two begin splashing around at each other laughing and giggling. Taking their time to exit the water still reliving the moment. "Now look at me I'm soaked" Sanura complained. "You'll be fine" Naasir answered still laughing about the whole thing.

"Hey wanna go and irritate the zebras?" Naasir suggested. "Sure race ya there!" Sanura bolts ahead easily overtaking Naasir, in an instant the two are facing the zebra herd. "So how we gonna spook em this time?" Sanura whispered to Naasir. "I was thinking we just charge this time, what ya think?" Naasir said. "Good plan, on three" Sanura began counting down "1......2......3!" The two leap from the grass and begin chasing the frantic zebras laughing. "YEAH TAKE THAT YOU ZEBRAS" Naasir yelled with a grin on his face. Sanura jumps in front of Naasir and starts losing her breath she stops suddenly, however Naasir was not watching Sanura and as she stopped he ran right into her. Still giggling Sanura crawls from under Naasir, "Come on you better keep up" Sanura begins running again, Naasir jumps up and runs up beside her. Suddenly while not looking the two didn't notice the slope they were about to end up rolling down, right before the fall the two noticed and begin screaming instead of laughing and start rolling uncontrollably down the hill, once they hit the bottom they disturbed a bunch of butterflies that’s rose from the ground and began flying around, the two friends began leaping in the air trying to catch them with a huge smile on both faces and laughter pouring from their mouths. Sanura sat down exhausted "This was so much fun, don't you reckon?" Sanura asked while still watching the butterflies that were flying around them. "Yeah, it has been heaps fun" Naasir lies down beside Sanura also watching the butterflies, the two huffing and puffing.

"May I ask? Where did you come from and where are your parents? I mean I hear mum and dad talk about it all the time but I just don't really understand" Sanura asks. "Well, I was kicked out of my pride. My mother didn't want me, I don't remember a thing about her or my father...all I remember is Kiros and Alumine finding me and allowing me into their pride, two months later you were born" Naasir answer a lot quieter. "Oh well, sorry we shouldn't have to talk about stuff like that seeing now you have a great home." Sanura smiled hoping to cheer Naasir up. "Yeah and a great friend for life" Naasir grinned. An awkward silence filled the area only to be broken by Sanura. "So your older than me? Naasir answers smiling "Yes but only by 2 months" He chuckles. The two continue to watch the butterflies with smiles on their faces knowing that no matter what they will always be friends forever. “You know if you weren't the princess we could be friends forever." Naasir commented. ""I guess we can still be friends when I become queen, right? I don't know the rules about that stuff. But I'm sure we can still be friends" Sanura supposed and hoped. "Yeah but what about when your you know..." Naasir was hoping Sanura knew the word he was thinking of because he couldn't bare to say. However Sanura had no clue what he was trying to say. "Married" Nassir finally got out. Sanura knew she would have to marry but hearing it was just a reminder. "I know" She said and that was all she said. Naasir saw how sad it made her feel so he dropped the topic immediately.

"So do you think we should head back?" Naasir asked. "Yes probably a good idea" Sanura answered politely. Sanura rose and started walking home; she turned to see if Naasir was following. "You coming" She called back. Naasir jumped up and ran by her side. The two began walking home, to their belief they had been playing all day and now the sun was setting. Once the two returned home turns out they where very late, Alumine was waiting outside for Sanura and Naasir. "Where have you two been?" Alumine questioned with a grin on her face. She walked the two cubs into the cave as they explained all the things they had done today. It was a day they would never forget. "It was the best day ever" Sanura told her mother from inside the cave.
