Kovu's Betrayal

                                         Part 1

Kovu wondered out of the cave onto PrideRock. He looked over the landscape. He walked down the rock and ran off. Kiara woke up and found Kovu missing. She went outside to look for him, but found no sign of him. She got his scent and followed it to the border of Outlander's Territory, where a new clan took over. She got scared and ran back to PrideRock. She woke her parents, Nala and Simba with a nip on the ears like she always did since she was a cub.

Simba: "What is it Kiara?"

Nala: "I'm trying to get my beauty sleep!"

Kiara: "This is important! Kovu is missing!"

Nala: "He might just be hunting or something."

Kiara: "No! Something happened to him! I should know because I followed his scent to the border of Outlander's Territory, where the new clan took over!"

Simba: "Now that is bad. Quick, round up the clan and go-"

Kiara cut Simba off.

Kiara: "I'll go find him! He is my mate!"

Kiara ran off to go find Kovu on her own.

Nala and Simba: "Kiara! No!"

Too late. Kiara ran off toward the Outlander's Territory. She was ready to give up her life for Kovu if he was in danger.

Kovu was in the outlander's Territory. He was betraying the pridelanders and cheating on kiara! He was with Alona, his beloved second mate. He was king of Pridelanders and Outlanders. He slept with Alona. What Alona didn't know was kovu was cheating on her with Kiara. he was betraying all four of the following: Pridelanders, Outlanders, Alona, and most importantly, Kiara.

Kiara followed Kovu's scent to the Outlander's cave. She walked inside, but stayed quiet and careful in case of an ambush. She spotted kovu and smiled while gasping, but her smile disappeared when she saw someone beside him: Alona. She wasn't at all happy to find them together. She growled and wanted to kill Alona, but kovu woke up to find her there.

Kovu: "Kia-"

Kovu bumped his head on the roof of the cave when he jumped up.

Kiara: "How could you Kovu?"

Kovu: 'How could I what?"

Kiara now had her eyes swelled up with tears. She was crying on the inside and was about to break down on the outside.

Kiara: "How could you betray he Pridelanders? And more importantly, me!?'

Kovu: "I- uh- i..."

Kiara: "Why Kovu? Why!?"

Kiara obviously said it loudly because Alona woke up. Alona saw Kiara and growled and ran beside Kovu.

Alona: "Why are you tresspassing?"

Kiara: "I came to see Kovu."

Alona: "Why? To kill him?"

Kiara: 'Why would I kill my own mate!?"

All three of them fell silent. Alona couldn't beleive it. Kovu had been cheating on her all this time. Kiara stayed silent and still, shaking from anger, sorrow, saddness and jealousy.

Kiara and Alona: "Kovu!?"

Kovu: "Don't worry Alona, Kiara is not my mate, you are. i love you more than anything in the world."

Kiara gasped and began to cry. She ran off to the Pridelanders. She would announce Kovu's betrayal of her and the clan. Kiara roared her lioness roar to gather her clan and all the animals.

Kiara: "I have an announcement to make!"

All the animals and clan members waited for the big announcement.

Kiara: 'Kovu has betrayed us and me! He is cheating on my with and outlander lioness named Alona! He has betrayed us! If he returns, exile!"

All the animals gasped and chattered. They couldn't beleive Kovu would betray them all. Simba and Nala approached Kiara.

Nala: "Kiara, are you sure Kovu betrayed us?"

Kiara: "Trust me. I would never tell a lie. Plus, I saw it with my owns eyes."

All the animals filled with anger and all did their angry sounds, as well as the angry roars of the clan.

Kovu: "You hear that, Alona?"

Alona: "Yes, lots of lion roars."

Kovu: "I'll go check it out."

Kovu ran off to the pridelanders. He saw everyone staring down at him so hard he could feel holes being burn into his body. (Not literally)

Kiara: "Kovu! Why have you returned? You betrayed us!"

Kovu: "I'm sorry! kiara, I love you!"

Kiara: "Exile!"

Kovu gasped as all the animals kicked and bucked and scratched at him. He ran back to the outlanders. Kovu arrived back at his and Alona's cave.

Kovu: 'It was the pridelanders. They exiled me."

Alona: "What? you were with the pridelanders? When were you gonna tell the clan!?'

Alona was obviously angry he betrayed the outlanders.

Kovu: 'I should have never met you. I don't love you anymore. I  love Kiara."

Kovu ran off to the pridelands. He saw Kiara at the border staring at him with hatred in her eyes.

Kiara: "Leave! You betrayer!"

Kovu: "Kiara, please let me be your mate again. I'm sorry, Alona wasn't the lioness I though she was. Please forgive me."

Kiara: "You honestly expect me to forgive you?"

Kovu stood silent.

Kovu: "But, I really do love you! Plkease just give me a second chance!"

Kovu's eyes were full with Respect, honesty, sorrow, sadness and pleading. He was being serious this time.

Kiara: 'Never! You know what you did to me?"

Alona ran up to Kovu when least expected.

Alona: "Kiara, get out of here. kovu is mine!"

Kovu: "No, Alona, I don't love you anymore. I love Kiara with all my heart and I always have. I cheated on her because I thought you were my match and not her, but alas, I was wrong. Get out of here, Alona."

Alona ran off crying at what Kovu had just told her.

Kiara: "Did you really mean that?"

Kovu: 'Yeah, I did."

Kiara smiled.

kiara: "I forgive you."

Kovu: "You do?'

Kiara: 'Yea, now lets go announce that you are back in the clan.

Kiara and Kovu ran all the way to PrideRock to make the announcement.

Kiara: "Kovu is no longer exiled! He is back here because he came to his senses and left the outlanders and Alona!"

All the animals cheered. Kiara nuzzled Kovu. Kovu nuzzled her back. Everything was going to be fine.
