Love was in the air in the Pridelands. Vitani had feelings of love for Kopa. Everytime he walked by and winked at her, she would get all giggly and start to blush. Simba and Nala were watching from a distance and noticed a spark between Kopa and Vitani.

"Kopa?" Vitani asked.

"What is it beautiful?" Kopa asked.

"Aw you think I'm beautiful," Vitani said.

"Yes I do," Kopa replied.

"Wanna take a walk with me?" Vitani asked.

"Alright, lets go," Kopa said.

After Kopa and Vitani left for their walk, Simba and Nala decided to enter the cave to spend some time with Kovu and Kiara. 

Meanwhile, Kopa and Vitani were walking around the Pridelands. In the evening, Kopa asked Vitani if she wanted to look at the stars with him. She accepted as they layed on their backs and enjoyed looking up at the night sky. Vitani and Kopa thought that the stars in the sky were bright and beautiful. Kopa turned his head and licked Vitani on the side of her face with his tongue.

"I never told anyone this; I'm in love with you Kopa," Vitani said.

"I never thought you would say that; I love you too," Kopa replied.

Vitani licked Kopa on his muzzle and they snuggled up beside each other and went back to Pride Rock the next morning. When they got back to Pride Rock, their tails were twisted together. Simba and Nala noticed that Vitani and Kopa were definitely in love.  They were beginning to wonder when Vitani and Kopa wanted to become mates. Kiara and Kovu walked out of the cave of Pride Rock and noticed gleaming looks in Kopa and Vitani's eyes.

"How was your date yesterday?" Kiara asked.

"It was amazing; I think that Vitani is "The One" for me," Kopa answered.

"I'm so happy for you two," Kiara said.

"Me too," Kovu added.

"Don't forget about us," Nala said.

"We're so happy that all of you approve of Kopa and I being in love," Vitani said.

A few months after Kopa proposed, he and Vitani got married in a family only ceremony. After the ceremony was finished, Vitani and Kopa decided to visit the Jungle for a few days. It was truly a day they'll never forget. While in the Jungle, Kopa and Vitani were lazing underneath a huge tree. They were enjoying their time alone. The marriage and walk to the Jungle tired them out. They needed rest and relaxation. A few hours later, Kopa and Vitani decided to find a swimming hole to swim in. Once they found it, they jumped right in and started swimming. Vitani thought it was the most fun she ever had. They were swimming until it was almost time for bed. When it was bedtime, Kopa fell asleep on top of Vitani. Vitani sighed happily as she slept. A few days later, Kopa and Vitani decided to head back to the Pride Rock and talk about how their vacation went.

"How was your visit in the Jungle?" Simba asked.

"It was really great Dad," Kopa answered.

"For the only few days we were there, we went swimming," Vitani said.

Nala shuddered when Vitani mentioned swimming. Vitani could tell that Nala hated to get wet and would only drink water. Vitani assured Nala that she and Kopa were fine. Nala was still unconvinced because of her hydrophobia.

"You mean you've never gone swimming?" Kopa asked.

"No," Nala confessed.

"There's no need to be embarrassed about not knowing how to swim," Vitani said.

"I would've learned if my Mother wasn't so protective of me," Nala said.

"Don't you have any siblings?" Vitani asked.

"No; I wish I did because then Mother would've not been so overprotective," Nala answered.

"It was nice talking to you; but I'm going to take a nap," Vitani said.

"Me too," Kopa said.

Vitani and Kopa went into the cave of Pride Rock for sleep. They were still exhausted from their journey back to Pride Rock from the Jungle.  A few hours later, Vitani woke up feeling uncomfortable. She wondered why she was unable to get back to sleep. The next few minutes passed and she felt nauseous. She groaned as she got up to go get a drink from the waterhole. Once she got there, she passed out. Vitani was woken up by Kovu about ten minutes later; he looked worried. Vitani got up into a sitting position and wondered why Kovu was worried about her.

"Where have you been Vitani?" Kovu asked.

"At the waterhole," Vitani answered.

"Are you feeling okay?" Kovu asked.

"No; I feel nauseous," Vitani confessed.

"Maybe you'll feel better after a drink of water," Kovu suggested.

"Maybe," Vitani agreed.

When Vitani was done quenching her thirst, she immediately threw up the meals she had ate while she was alone with Kopa. She didn't know why this was happening. After Vitani was done throwing up, she got another drink from the waterhole before Kovu escorted her back to the cave of Pride Rock. Vitani layed down next to Kopa and noticed he was awake. He was worried about her. She assured him that she was fine. Kovu shook his head and walked out. Nala walked into the cave and went to see if Vitani was okay.

"Do you know a pregnancy when you see one?" Vitani asked.

"What do you mean?" Nala asked.

"I think I might be pregnant," Vitani said.

"That's great news," Nala said.

"I agree with you," Vitani replied.

"Me too; I'm looking forward to being a Dad," Kopa said.

"Send the pride in; I have some news to tell them," Vitani ordered.

A few minutes later, the pride was in the cave listening to what Vitani had to say.

"Everyone; I'm pregnant," Vitani said.

The pride was excited for Vitani and Kopa becoming new parents. It would only be a few months until an heir was brought into the world. Vitani wondered whether the heir was going to be a boy or a girl. Kopa came to the conclusion that Vitani could be pregnant with twins. A few months later, Vitani gave birth to a male and female. Simba and Nala were happy to have a granddaughter and a grandson. The first born was the female. She had Vitani's blue eyes, her pointed pink nose and apricot colored fur with a cream underbelly. The male was born second. He had Vitani's coloring and Kopa's nose and red eyes. Vitani and Kopa decided to name their daughter Aisha and their son Koda. Simba and Nala passed down their throne to Vitani and Kopa.
