Kovu was worried. Kiara was expecting a cub and she had been in labor for almost an hour. He was sitting on the edge of Pride Rock. He turned to Simba. He had beem depressed since Milo disapeared a few weeks ago and was pronounced Dead. A teenage Lono appeared by Kovu's side. "Dad, has the cub been born yet?" Kovu was about to say something when Rafiki walked out.

"It is time." He said.

Kovu ran inside the cave. He noticed Kiara licking a brown cub. "Kovu, he looks just like you!" Kovu smiled. "Like us." He said, nuzzling Kiara.

Lono looked at the cub. "Why don't we name him Amiri? It means 'Power,'" he said. Kiara smiled. "Perfect." she said.

                                                           ----------------------------------------

Amiri pounced. "Ow," he said, hitting his head on a rock. A grasshopper jumped away. Amiri growled. "One day, I will be the best hunter this Pride has ever seen!"

Lono walk next to him. His mane blew in the wind. "Here, let me show you." He showed him a stance to pounce, and rubbed Amiri's head. "Now, pounce!" Amiri did as he was told, and got the grasshopper. "Yes!" he cheered. Kovu walked up to Lono. "Can I speak to you, son?" Lono nodded and followed Kovu.

Amiri looked ahead. "Woah... the Elephant Graveyard...." He ran over to that place. When he got there, he spotted a skull. "Wow, I bet it's brains are still in it." he chuckled. He tried to walk inside, but a tiger walked out. "And you are?"

Amiri was speechless. "You traspasser!" The tiger growled. Than he smiled. "And lunch." He pounced, pinning Amiri down and diging his claws into Amiri's arm. Amiri screamed in pain.

Meanwhile....

"So, I'm like, the king now?" Lono asked Kovu. "Yes, you are all grown up now. So-" He was cut off by a scream of pain. "What was that?" Lono asked. "I have no idea." Then Kovu and Lono looked at eachother, eyes wide. "Amiri!" They shouted.

Kovu and Lono looked around. They heard another scream. "It's coming from the Elephant Graveyard!" Lono stated. The two ran to the dark place.

-----------------------------------

The tiger bit Amiri on the arm and was about to kill him when Amiri heard two roars. He looked up and saw Lono and Kovu attacking the tiger. Kovu pinned the tiger down and growled. The tiger growled at Kovu. "This is not the last you have seen of me!" He said before releasing from Kovu's grasp and running away. Lono picked a hurting Amiri. "Let's get out of here." Kovu said.

------------------------------------

Most of Amiri's wounds healed. There was a scar on his left eye that remained. He was now a teen. He never saw that strange tiger. Milo returned a few days before.

Amiri heard a roar. He looked outside, and saw a familiar tiger. The tiger smirked at him. "Call me Dennis." He said. He turned to Lono. "Well, hello. I'll be taking this pride now." Lono laughed. "Look, it's obvious that a lion is the king. Now, why don't you-" Dennis bit Lono's arm. "I'll be taking the pride, now." He said, pushing Lono down. Lono gasped. Amiri didn't know what to do. He took off out of the cave.

--------------------------------------

He ran until he couldn't run any more. He was about to pass out when a lioness walked up to him. "You okay?" Amiri looked up. Woah. She's beautiful.

He nodded. "Y-Yes, but I could use a place to stay." She smiled. "Sure. My name is Haga. I'm from the snow pride." Amiri rose a brow. "Really? My brother's best friend is king there." She smiled. "Milo? That's funny. So, what brings you all the way out here?"

Amiri coughed. "My pride has been attacked by a tiger. I needed to get away. I need help to save them." Haga smiled again. "Well, come with me. I'll help you." she said. Amiri grinned. "Thanks!"

-----------------------------------------

Amiri arrived at the Snow Pride. Milo padded up to him. "Well, what's my best friends little brother doing here?" Amiri sighed. "Well... Pride Rock had been attacked. I need help to save them." Milo nodded. "Of course. My pride is always open to help!"

-----------------------------------------

A couple of years later, Amiri was ready to defend his pride. He had the snow pride by his side. He couldn't lose. Or so he thought.

As soon as he arrived, he knew it was bad. He saw dead bodies lying everywhere. "Sarafina!" he gasped when he saw his great-grandmother dead. "Wha-" he looked up and saw tigers all around pride rock. "I don't believe this!" Milo looked too. "Oh my-" Haga gasped. Hali rose her brow. "Wow." Amiri sighed. "We've got to try." Milo nodded.

-----------------------------------------

Dennis jumped off of Pride Rock when he saw Amiri. "Well, Well, Well. Look at this. You've missed a lot."  Amiri growled. "Let's settle this." Dennis laughed. "Sure. Let's go!" Amiri attacked Dennis while the rest attacked the other tigers.

-------------------------------------

The fight continue for a while. Finally Dennis pinned down Amiri. Dennis laughed. "You see? You can't take me down! Ha! Ha!" Amiri looked around. He had an idea. He tried Dennis's trick. He bit his arm. "Ow!" Amiri jumped up and bit Dennis's neck. He let go when he was sure he was dead. The tigers ran off.

Amiri turned to Haga. "Well, thanks. I, uh, guess I should go find, um, Lono and my dad." He said. "Oh, whatever. Haga, I love you!" He gasped when he realised what he had said. Hada chuckled. "Same here." She nuzzled him.

Lono, Kovu, and Kiara appeared next to him. "Glad to see you're okay, son." Kovu said. Amiri smiled. "Yeah. But I didn't come alone."

He nodded over to Milo and his pride. "And here is someone I want you all to meet. This is Haga, my mate."
