A New Home?

  "This is a bad idea! Kiara and Kovu have done NOTHING wrong, let alone Simba and Nala. Why are you doing this, Mother?" Vitani protested.

  "Because SIMBA killed SCAR! Why can't you see that they are evil! And his daughter, well shes another story, didn't you see how she tricked Kovu?" Zira replied.

  "They LOVE each other why can't you see that? Not everything is a trick or a scam. They aren't evil, SCAR is the evil one and you can't accept that. He was the only one who ever accepted you that's why you can't take his death seriously!"

  "How DARE you say that!? Get out of here NOW! Go back to Pride Rock where you belong with all of those other lifeless mutts! I WILL GET MY REVENGE! Watch!" Zira said slashing Vitani on her side leaving a deep cut that started to bleed.

  Vitani stared at her in horror...how could her own MOTHER do that? But she still ran, she ran as far as she could then dropped down in the middle of the plains. Her side was bleeding badly now and she couldn't take a step further. She eventually fell asleep and when she woke up she suddenly had a burst of energy. She ran all the way to Pride Rock, where Kiara and Kovu were celebrating the birth of their cub, Techa.

  "Vitani! What happened?" Kiara said examining the cut on her side.

  "Zira got mad at me for defending you. She slashed me and told me to get out, but she's really serious about getting revenge this time. She could strike at ANY moment be prepared!" Vitani said breathing heavily.

  Simba and Kovu were notified of Zira's plan to get revenge. Meanwhile Rafiki held up Techa to all of the animals and watched as Mufasa and Sarabi watched down on them. He looked pleased. All that happiness turned down all at once by hearing the upsetting news that Zira was going to strike again.

  Meanwhile.....

  "I'm on my own now," Zira muttered to herself as she paced around thinking of what she could do, "I've got it!! I will drive them straight out of their home. They will be so terrified they won't even dare come back to the outlands. Now I've got to get help....,"

  Zira was planning to ambush Pride Rock and battle every single one of them. But first she needed back up. She was going to gather all rogue lions and lionesses and they would strike together all at once. She knew two rogue prides willing to help her get revenge. The two prides, the Red Water Pride and the Silver Branch pride were a group of rogues and lions/lionesses that had been abandoned as cubs. They were properly trained in battle and they were very strong fighters.

  "We'll strike in the morning....," Zira said laughing evilly.

  Back in the Pride Lands, they were also planning on what they would do when Zira and her followers came to destroy them [or atleast try]. Simba and Kovu would stay guard and watch out for any sign of Zira.

  The next morning Zira and her group of wild rogues arrived at Pride Rock. There was atleast 45 rogue lions, and then there was Simba, Kovu, Nala, Vitani and the rest of the pride along with other animals. It was pretty obvious who would win that battle but they still went on with it as though they didn't want to show weakness.

  They fought for hours but eventually they backed down. It was simply endless and they knew that at some point they would've retreated anyway. Zira commanded them to leave Pride Rock and they disobeyed her. But with the weight of SO MANY animals on the rock it slowly CRACKED smack in the middle. The sound pierced through the ears of EVERY single creature out there. From the smallest ant to the biggest of elephants.

  As the rock formation seperated from the rest. They all stared in horror. Kiara had still been in there. She quickly jumped out with Techa being held in her mouth. She shreiked and looked at their precious home DESTROYED. It ended up in dust from one crack to another it simply fell apart. Zira and her pack of rogues seemed satisfied.

  "NO! This cannot be!" Kiara yelled ,"It just can't! There's no possible way, I must be dreaming...,"

  As Zira and all of the others went back to their home. Kovu and Simba were discussing what they would do next. It was up to them to lead the pride. So they began to trek across the plains with nothing but the hope of finding a new home. For the time being atleast. But there would NEVER be another Pride Rock. The Circle of Life and been through many generations there and now all that was left was a pile of red dust.

  The long journey across the plains was ENDLESS. Soon everyone grew tired and the sun was beginning to set. Nala spotted a huge formation in the horizon. It looked almost magical. The sun shone brightly onto it as if it were in a spotlight.

  "This is it! Our new home!" Nala exclaimed.

  "Could it be? Another Pride Rock?" Kovu stared as if he were amazed.

  The entire pride made their way over to it and it seemed PERFECT. Even better than the original Pride Rock. It was much bigger, too. Certainly they would never forget their home. But this was their NEW home! There was space for everybody, and it was great because everybody could be protected when they had intruders. Kiara suggested they call it Pride Rock II.

  Their first night in their new home was rather exciting but nobody knew of what was to come...late that night...Zira and her rogues came back! They decided to attack AGAIN because they knew that everybody would be weak and tired. But this time..things were different. They didn't back down. Instead they defended themselves and soon enough they earned the respect of the rogues.

  The rogues requested to join their pride! Simba was shocked at the fact that they changed their minds just like that but they didn't hesitate. Soon enough Zira was all on her own. And she finally gave up. She gave up on avenging Scar and she went off into the outlands.... never to be see again......
