The White Lion Chapter One: Birth As nightfall emerged, a pride of lions awoke from their deep slumber. One individual lion cub, emerged from the safety of his pride, the cub stood on a rock that opened an angelic view of their home for the cub. The cub himself was a healthy one; it had bright blue eyes, a healthy shade of gold-brown on him. The cub’s eyes spotted the fine weather, and a grin came into his face. It was perfect weather for a new cub to be born into the pride. The cub felt an itch on his back, feeling a craving to cure this itch, he playfully slid down off of the rock and rubbed against a dying tree. Seeing twitching in the grass before him, he pounced on a bug. He wasn’t sure what kind it was, but he really didn’t care. His mother, noticing his act of cruelty called to him to quickly save the bug.  The cub, whose name Aziz, sluggishly followed, disappointed by not being able to finish his battle with the bug. “Son, there will be a new cub soon, and I want you to be like a big brother to the cub. “'Right?” She told her son. It really wasn't a question, but it made Aziz feel proud to have some what of a choice.
“Yes Ma'am.” He said with dignity in his voice. Her mother smiled and shooed him along.

“Run along now, I'll call you when the cub is born. “ She told him. They didn't need a bull in a lions den that's for sure. Aziz was a bit disappointed, but he went to go play. He was rather excited for this new cub to be his new friend, and his “Little brother”.  The birth came very slowly, when the sun was going down the next day. Aziz was still sound asleep by this time. The male lion of the pride had moved on more out, not wanting to be caught in the hassle of the birth of this new cub. By the time Aziz awoke, the mother of this white, snowy white lion was already grooming her new son. Aziz's eyes brightened with joy as he saw the white bundle. “What'cha gonna name him?” Aziz asked the mother. The mother shrugged. “You name him.” She gave the task to Aziz casually. “Hmmm, see, sei, Cei! I'll call him Cei. “ Aziz said with pride. End of Chapter One : The Birth The White Lion Chapter two: The Cub It had been two weeks after the birth of the white cub, and he was already playing with the other cubs. He wasn't old or strong enough yet to play with the older cubs like Aziz, but he would nip at their heels when they walked by. Aziz was like Cei's older brother, and he was proud of that honor. He told the cub almost everything he knew about living. He kept some cruel devastating information to himself though, when the cub is older, he planned to tell him more about the harsh world that they lived in. “Aziz?” Cei asked with a positive tone. “Yea?” Aziz mustered threw his proud sleep. “Why don't 'cha play with me?” Cei asked, you'd notice now that he was a good size smaller than Aziz. “Your too small, Cei.” Aziz told him, in a commanding bit of a tone. It was a bit harsh. But he knew It was for Cei's own good. “Oh....will I play with you some day?” The white lion asked. Aziz nodded and gave a big lion yawn. For weeks now, the young cub always tried to play with Aziz, well now today was the day. Aziz was moving his tail around for Cei to pounce on. It was a joyous moment for the young cub. “Why do the lionesses go away for some time?” Cei asked Aziz. Aziz had to think about what Cei had said, “To go hunt.” He answered.
“Why does daddy stay home?” Another Question fired right out of the mouth. “To protect us.” Was what Aziz answered.
“So some day we will protect the pride?” “If we still live in this one, yes..” Aziz had trouble talking as fast as Cei so there was a pause between their conversations. But Aziz saw that happy grin on the white lion. “So, do you want to be a leader someday?” Aziz asked. He saw that happy-go lucky grin fade into a worried frown, and transcend into a happy face again. “Ya, one day...” Cei said, his tail gave a happy plop. “Well, that's something you have to look forward too.” Aziz said. Cei knew he was right. End of chapter 2   Chapter three : Teen Years Cei had grown a lot, his mane was starting a bit, but it still had that young feel to it. His weight had tripled, he could now out run his mother (Who was 7 years old) and was acquiring some fighting skills by defending some younger cubs from hyenas. He was handsome, and smart. He enjoyed watching the clouds go by. But he was worried about Aziz’s father. Who had grown bitter in the past year. He glared at his son and his friends like they were going to kill him! ‘Well speak of the devil.’ Cei thought as he spotted a large figure moving along the moonlight. He felt the urge to go and make conversation with the older lion but he was rather afraid of this lion. After all he had that glare on him… To resist the temptation Cei left for a walk. “Hey Cei.” Aziz called from behind Cei. Cei felt himself smile with joy as he noticed his best friend, to save the night again. “What’s wrong with your father? Why is he so-“ “So angry? The other lion prides have been invading his territory. “ Aziz answered. He had a feeling his father would get very angry and start some sort of war. Cei was silent for a change. “Maybe it’s about time we left the pride.” He said after a few minutes of silence. Aziz didn’t say anything. “We’ve been here our whole lives, it’s not fair to leave now.” His voice broke a few times while saying this, but he loved this place, even if his father was a jerk. Cei sighed in having trying to convince Aziz to leave with him would be hard.
“I know but…” He said, his mind drew a blank. He waited for a few more minutes. “It’s time.”
And just like that Aziz seemed to agree with him. Time seemed to stop just for a moment and Cei took this time to think about what could and couldn’t go wrong, Could the sky fall? Could the daylight disappear? “Let’s go. “ Aziz said. Cei nodded and the two left for a new life, and new adventurers. End of Chapter three       Chapter Four : Adult years It had been awhile since Aziz and Cei left their old pride. Now their mane was proud and valiant, like heroic tales you hear at campfires. “Hey Cei…” Aziz said softly to get his friend’s attention.
“Ya?” Cei asked.
“Do you ever want to start a pride?” Aziz asked. They are what you would call, Nomads lions. “Sure. Which pride?” Cei asked. He doubted that Aziz would really would try to take on a whole pride. “You know that big pride that has that rock?”
“Pride Rock?” Cei joked. “Something like that I guess.” Aziz said. He never was really good at remembering. “I guess. They only have two male lions. And one of them is really old.” Cei said. He weighed in his head, what could go wrong. There was way more cons than pros. But the ultimate pro was worth fighting for.  “You ready?”
Aziz asked after a few minutes.
“Yea.” Cei said eventually. Aziz got up and shook the dry grass off of him. “Well let’s go!” He said, he impatiently nudged Cei with his nose.
“All right, all right.” Cei said with a chuckle in his words. He got up and he trotted along at a good decent pace. Aziz shortly followed. “So if we win what are we going to do with this pride?” Aziz asked. He already had plans, but Cei was his friend, so he asked for him too. “Uh, I don’t really know.” Cei said. He really didn’t care, but he knew maybe if Aziz got too cocky he would get them killed. So he didn’t want to give Aziz any extra hope. “Hey,” Aziz said suddenly in darker tone, “trust in me.” “I do. You’re like a brother to me.” Cei said. His tail gently swatted Aziz. “Heh…. A brother…” He mumbled under his breath. He seemed to like that, being called a brother. “Hey, if we die, we avenge the other’s murder.” Cei added. “Yes.” Aziz said. He was starting to get excited for this battle.  End of Chapter 4 Chapter 5 : End Game Aziz looked at Cei, who seemed confident, but Aziz was starting to get worried. “I’ll fight beside your side, and when we die, I’ll pick up the pieces. “ Cei told him. Aziz turned around a bit surprised, he hadn’t expected Cei to talk. “But-“Aziz started. “But if one of dies?” Cei chuckled. He expected this question to come up. “Then the other has to have a kid and tell the story of us.” Cei told him. Aziz liked the sound of that. “To battle.” Aziz said finally.   Cei smiled. Aziz knew how it would go. He would and Cei would fight the current male lion of the pride. If they won, the pride was theirs. If they lost, well they could be killed or just chased off. They came to the pride’s land at night, where they would be asleep. They weren’t interested in hurting the lioness.  “I’ll go to the right side of the land, if I see the male, I’ll let you know.” Aziz said. Cei nodded and said, “I’ll go to the left.” And with that he left. Cei watched Aziz as he went to fight bravely. Cei trotted along the grass and sniffed. There
