be happier, she had a cub that Scar cared about!  And she had a daughter, she'd always wanted a daughter.  She named her Vitani, meaning 'war, demon of war'.

     The next day, tragedy struck; for Scar, at least, when his nephew, Simba, returned home and attacked Scar.  Scar was pushed over the edge of a cliff, but he lived.

      "No!!" Zira cried as she saw her mate fall, she sighed of relief as he stood up.  She hopped down and ran towards him.  She stopped at the sound of him screaming, she ran up the hill and found him covered in hyenas. 

     "Get off him!!" She roared and attacked the hyenas.  The scattered, and were never seen again.  Zira turned to her mate, he was still alive!  She lied down next to him, and cried.

     "Zira...." He said.  "Please....Raise K-Kovu, to kill Simba.....And become...King." Scar said.

     "I will!  I promise!!" She cried as Scar rested his head, and closed his eyes.  She stayed there for hours into the night, before finally leaving.

     The next night, Zira gathered all the other lioness' who looked up to Scar as there king, she had come up with a plan.

      "We will evange Scar." Zira said to her fellow lioness' , rain trickling down their faces.  "Kovu WILL kill Simba. And will rule the Pridelands as Scar once did." She roared and the others jioned her.

     Zira heard a gasp and looked up.  Zazu was flying over her.  Once she looked at him, he took off towards Pride Rock.  She and the others chased after him, but by the time they got to Pride Rock, it was to late.  Simba stopped them from entering.

     "Get out of here, Zira! And take them with you!"  Simba ordered.  Zira growled and lept at him, but missed and was takled to the ground.  She kicked him off.  she walked over her followers.  She picked up Kovu, and another picked up Vitani. 

     "We WILL be back."  She growled, glaired at Desta, who ran and hid behind Sarabi.  "If I EVER catch you in the Pridelands, I'll kill you."  Simba warned.  Zira growled and walked away with the others.  Simba watched them untill they were far out of sight.
