other confused, “Who your married too,” The cubs were less confused now, “Mufasa, your betrothed to Safani, and Taka to Sarabi,” The cubs said eww!

“But farther I like Sarabi,” Said Mufasa turning red, “Well, swap then Sarabi to Mufasa, and Safani to Taka,” The rest of that day, the betrothed couples spent time with each other, “Stupid betrothed lions I have no one to play with now, what am’ I supposed to do? It’s not fair no one loves me, they just go off all happy smiley, and expect me Zira not to be lonely, they probably think stupid Zira she’ll be fine she’s a loner any way!” Sobbed Zira Looking in a muddy puddle at her reflection.

She looked rather gloomy till Kavanu approached.

“Oh it’s you Kavanu,” Kavanu frowned, “Why so upset?” He asked “I…I… you wouldn’t know, or understand well it doesn’t matter.” Kavanu, looked at her and smiled, “Come on Zira, cheer up, want to come and play?” Zira perked up and looked surprised, “Well ok, but I get a little rough,” She said looking unsure, “I don’t mind, I’m kind of rough,” He said smiling, he leaped onto Zira but she flipped him and pinned him down!

Kavanu looked very embarrassed, as Zira looked down at him, “I didn’t know you where that good,” He said blushing a little, “Well I’m very surprising,” She said, “No ones ever pinned me before,” he said gazing into her eyes, “Really?” She said letting him up, “Anyway how did you do that fancy trick?” Kavanu said looking sheepish, Zira smiled so that morning Zira taught him the flip trick, after that they went playing pounce on the grass hoppers, in the tall grass, and had fun walking and talking together.

The young cubs fell in love with each other, they felt a bond between each other like no other cubs before or after them, it seemed every time their eye’s met, sparks and fire works would fly they were pulled together by the fait of love a mystery so deep no man could define it, their togetherness was a perfect match, Kavanu and Zira new they had found their life partners their soul mates whatever you want to call it, they’d found each other! They hardly left each others sides, “Kavanu,” Said Zira she leaped at him they rolled down a grassy slope, when they stopped Zira paused, and saw that Kavanu had pinned her with out even meaning to, when he noticed they smiled at each other, and Kavanu and Zira just laughed, (Kavanu did say pinned ya just to get his own back).

As they walked back to pride rock the other cubs meet them, “How was your day Zira?” Asked Sarabi, but Zira and Kavanu ignored them and went straight past.

“How rude,” Sarabi thought… “Ah leave em’ Rabi, they look happy.” Said Taka, smiling at Safani, she smiled back.

A few day’s after Zira stopped playing with the other cubs except for Kavanu, while that was going on, the other cubs played, “Muffy, do you think we’ll always be together?” Said Taka, “Course, we will be Taka,” Mufasa said proudly, the months past and the cubs grew into teens, the boys where very big and had more mane now, and the girls where bigger but much more thinner and beautiful.

Later that same day, Ahadi came over to his son’s.

“My boy’s, it’s time you both knew which one of you will be king, I must tell you,” He said pausing for a moment then Said “Mufasa, you are the strongest, of you both, I appoint you the next king,” Taka looked pleased, “Hooray,” Taka yelled and jumped around, he was happy not to be king, “Hu, hum…” Said Ahadi, Taka stopped and looked up at his father sheepishly, “Mufasa you shall prove yourself in a fight with Taka, Mufasa if you win you take the crown Taka if you win you take the crown,” He said smiling down on his cubs,

“The fight is tomorrow morning, I suggest you both practice fighting,” Ahadi left his sons, “Hu, easy,” Said Mufasa Proudly,
“Excuse me, did I hear you right easy?” Taka glared at his brother, “Don’t you know Taka? Tut, tut, you are quite clueless though, don’t you realise, your easy! Get it? Easy, push over, I could take you on and win in 3 seconds with my front paws tied together! You great girl!” Smirked Mufasa, looking down on his brother and smirking, then Mufasa spat on Taka, “Oh, that’s it!” Growled Taka, his claws slid out his teeth bared, his mane stood up making him look bigger, and he flexed his muscles and took a step forward “No, Taka safe your strength for the fight.” Safani stepped in front of Mufasa, “Got your girl friend pushing you around know Taka…” Mufasa chuckled, “Shut it you aren’t half the lion Taka is!” Safani shouted,

“No he’s not Safani, your right he’s more of a lion,” Sarabi laughed.

“Don’t you talk to him like that Stupid rabi!” Safani glared, “Infact Mufasa you’ll never be Ahadi!” She screeched, Mufasa turned round his face went sour, he was about to strike Safani, when…

“NO!” Taka Shouted, he leapt in front of Safani, as he got up he had a small red mark under his eye, “Thank you Taka, don’t worry it won’t scar,” Safani smiled, after that they trained, Taka trained herd running jumping, practicing hunting, and fighting, it was quite amazing because he just managed to pin Safani, and she’s the best fighter, they were just finishing eating a zebra, when.

“Come on Taka, Ahadi’s moved the fight for now come on!” Shouted Alana.

The fight started they both tackled each other, they scratched and bit and ripped hunks of fur off each other they scratched and kicked, and bit, and pushed and rugby tackled each other down, “Aw!” Roared Mufasa as Taka, pulled his mane hard, almost ripping it out, “Rrr…” Growled Taka in pain, as Mufasa bit into his leg, swipe, went their paws, doge after swipe, after bite, after scratch, kick after kick they even ran around while they fought, and yelled nasty comments, at each other, “Stupid,” Screeched Mufasa, “You smell and look like a wart hogs back end, that’s been sprayed on by skunks, and dipped in rotting fruit,” Taka said while thumping Mufasa in the thigh, “Well you’re a wimpy little wood louse your so bad you’re a bug a wimpy small bug and so’s your girl friend!” Chuckled Mufasa thudding Taka in the paw. Well that did it, Taka pounced on Mufasa, and summoned all his strength slammed Mufasa down Pinning him, and smacked him across the face, Taka got up but after Taka had walked a few steps,

“Gotcha!” Roared Mufasa then leaping on Taka then swiping him across the face, But little did he know his claws were out…

All the animals cheered, as Mufasa won but nobody cheered for poor Taka, who turned towards his brother, Mufasa turned round seeing what he had done, and started,

“Look, what you’ve done I’ll never forgive you! You’ve gave me a scar, you, you, idiot stupid, horrible lion you will be the worst king ever I hate you! Mufasa, I hate you! You idiot! I’ll never forgive you ever, ever! I’ll never respect you again, go away!” Taka Screeched, Mufasa walked towards him, “Stay away from me! Leave me alone, you Brute, you aren’t my brother any longer, I will never want you!” He Screamed running away…

“What happened?” Said Ahadi, coming down from his perch on a near by rock but Mufasa could only say what he had done, “Well we’ll look for him in the morning,” Said Ahadi “I know he can hunt for himself.” Ahadi explained, leading Mufasa to tell Uru what happened.

But Taka ran far out, into a jungle far out where Taka and Mufasa had once played, he sat their pondering at his new reflection, he didn’t know who he was staring at in the water any more after 2 minutes…

“Hello,” Said a voice behind Taka, “Who are you?” The Lioness asked,

“Well, I’m Taka son of king Ahadi, his second best son…” The lioness looked at him, “Why second best?” The lioness said laying down beside him, “Well, my twin brother Mufasa is going to be king and he loves him more than me…” Taka aid shamefully The lioness looked cross.

“Well, we’ll have to do something about that,” She smiled, at him Taka smiled back but remembered his betrothed, Safani, “I can’t be with you, I have a betrothed…” The lioness looked pleased, “Your very noble and true I’ll give you that, you must love her to resist me,” She joked, “Well, what are you going to do about your brother,” The lioness asked,

“I’ll Know when the times right!” Taka Replied, when he turned round to see the lioness again, she was gone…

That night Taka spent plotting and scheming, and Turning more darker the darkness he couldn’t escape bubbled and began to grow inside him he began to turn into a shadow of his former self…

In the morning he woke a new lion, much stronger, and smarter before… he went to hunt, as he hunted he heard someone following him, he jumped in to the grass behind him, the thing that had followed him was Mufasa, Taka looked surprised his brother had come for him, surprised he even cared…
