Authors Note: Notice this is just my idea of what may have happened. This has nothing to do with anything that happened in the movie well part of it just the first part mind you but nothing else. Now please friends Enjoy and if you like it i shall make another chaptor.


It all started when Kovu was born Zira had a vision that Scar had picked Kovu to rule the pride lands when he became of age although Nuka felt like he should have became king but he would only mess up as his mom said. Kovu at first didn't want to do it but soon grew keen to the idea as the months rolled on.

Zira smirked as she circled around her son" Now my son..do you remeber what i've taught you.." Kovu stood still looking at the cave in silence" Scar is the rightful king.." Zira grinned" Yes.. and what i have i taught you.." Kovu continued to glare deeper into the cave" Simba is the enemy.." She smiled a terrible smile" Yes and what must you do!" Kovu growled" I must Kill him!"

The group of lions that surrounded Kovu began to roar in usion and grin with triumph while Zira sat there grinning that terrible grin that made there insides crawl had they not been apart of her devious plan.

Vitani and Nouka smirked as the grabbed the sticks lit with flames they ran through the feild lighting the savanah on fire. Zira and Kovu sat watching the blaze and Zira couldn't help but grin her plan was going perfectly so far and it made her greatly happy.

Kovu smirked as he grew closer to both Kiara and Simba he didn't feel anything for the two all he felt was vengence for the lion who possed as his father. He and his mother had it planned when Simba took him out for a daily walk to exsplain things and about how evil scar was Zira and her grouped of lioness attacked. Kovu grinned in triumph as Simba was brought down and killed. Zira roared with glee as the blood dripped from her jaw to the ground where simba's corpse laid. Nuka was jelous and Vitani was proud of there brother and couldn't wait till they got control of the pride lands.

Kovu praticed and fought with some of the lioness to make it look like he tried to save simba. He recived a scar on his eye from his mom to make it look more convincing. He saw the looks on Kiara and Nala's faces and he would have felt bad providing he had any sympathy. He then decided it was Nala's turn to play the role telling her a few days later that he had found some very nice antelope in the feilds just alittle outside the pride lands. Nala was weary but went along with it.

Nala found out before it was to late and Zira and her group had piled up on her killing her instantly with a crack of the neck. Kovu went back acting as if he was about to pass out and he was badly wounded. Kiara came running up she nuzzled Kovu" What happened wheres mom..?" Kovu looked up at her with a look of hurt on his face" I tried to save her but the antalope ran her ove and trampled her..and she pushed me out of the way but they got me quite alot." Kovu said.

Kiara was heart broken and didn't leave the pride rock much. Kovu walked out and let out a loud roar. A few nights went by and late that night Zira and her pack of lions had crept on and Zira attacked Kiara pinning her to the ground. Kiara winced in pain and looked up at Kovu for help but all he did was grin at her. Kiara manage to squeeze out and ran off stopping at the edge of pride rock she looked back seeing Zira walk towards her when she got close Kiara stepped back and fell.

Zira laid there her claws digging into Kiara's wrists tightly" Must be great to go out the way your grandfather did.." She smirked and brought her muzzle to Kiara's ear" Long live the queen of pride rock!" She flung Kiara sending her flying down to the ground below. Kovu stood behind his mother grinning with triumph as he watched Kiara fall to her death.

Early that morning Kovu felt like a whole new lion. He now ruled pride rock along with his mother and siblings. Much to say most of the animals weren't happy about it not that they cared. Zira smiled and looked up at the sky" I did this for you Scar..i hope i've made you happy.."

Kovu was surprised but happy that his mothers planned worked to say the least. He was happy to see that his mother was proud of him and his love for his mother is what made him do this and his pride for scar is what made him succeed. Zira was happy but the problem was they also need a new heir for the future kingdom but that could wait.

Life was good and they were all happy. Nuka's mane was growing in and him and Vitani had control over the hunting party. Zira stayed up on the pride to rule with Kovu and everything was fantastic. Too bad it wouldn't last very long when two lions come to return to see there pride a complete disaster.

Okay thats where it starts if you can guess who the two lions are i will give you a chance to make a girl for Kovu perhpas or for one of the two lions and mention them in the fic. The lions are from the earlier comics that were mentioned and not mentioned in the charater lists on TLK source.
