'M-mummy...you're not mad, are you?'
Simba looked up, his bottom lip trembling uncontrollably, tears welling in his eyes.
'No; not mad, I'm just very...upset.' Sarabi sighed, pulling her son close.
'But, Simba, your father's not gone. He remains,' she placed a paw on his quivering chest 'in your heart.' she gave a sad smile.
Simba took a few gulps of air, yet he still felt that he couldn't breath.
Your fault, your fault! the little voice at the back of his mind screamed.
'M-mummy...do you hate me?' he wailed, burying his face into her arm. Sarabi frowned.
'No Simba...why would I hate you?'
Simba sobbed loudly.
'Simba? Simba. Tell me.' She said ratehr sternly, but soothingly.
Simba looked at her, his eyes big.
'It's my fault; I killed father!'
Sarabi gasped, turned, and fled.
'Simba!' crowed a chilling voice.
'What have you done?'

As you can see, this is my new project.
It's a What If.
What if Scar had let Simba stay, instead of run away?
What if Scar turned everyone; even his own mother; against the cub?
But what if Simba WAS the killer?
