Up in the stars
The male tilted his head, and surveyed the lioness. The other spirits had talked about her, she was nicknamed the heart-broken queen. She was Kiara, the late queen of the pridelands.. Her mate Kovu had been having an affair with a lioness who was apparently his ex betrothed. Kiara had died of a broken heart when she found out.. She was reclusive, rarely talked to anyone. He ventured closer, and noticed she was staring down through the green grass , down through the stars below, and watching the looming figure of a disdant Priderock. tears glistened in her eyes, and he felt her pain stab at him. Shouldnt she be in no more pain? She was among spirits now.. How could've king Kovu broken her heart..She was so beautiful..
