Surveying the Pridelands

So, uh, I was listening to music and for some reason randomly got an inspiration to draw a lion. At first it was gonna be one of my female lion characters, but since Kovu used to be (and kinda still is) one of my favourite Lion King characters, I decided to draw him instead. This is what I think he would like like when he's fully grown with a proper mane and stuff. xDD I failed on the scar because I just remembered it at the very last minute. Same with the nose gradient, I also forget it BUT NOT THIS TIME. WOO.
And yes. A background. LAURA DID A BACKGROUND. Even if it's simple and crappy. I tried to make it look like the sky near the start of the movie when Kiara is sneaking off to play.
I have decreed I need to draw more lions. Because I have lots of lion characters.
