ChangYwele and Kundu
Sadly, this is probably the last bit of lion art that you'll see from me for a while.... I have school and canine trades to finnish before I get back to these guys! :)
My two characters, Ywele (Foreground) and Kundu (In the back), from my fan fiction series: "Lion King III: True Heir." Both are the sons of Kovu and Kiara. They also have a sister, Yani, who is not in this picture.
This is a part in the story where the cubs are about a year old. Kundu has asked Ywele about how he may handle being King, and why he wouldn't want the position, as Ywele eventually declares. Ywele is torn between distrust in his brother's inquisitiveness, and his anger at thinking of Kundu this way. At one point, he wakes up to find Kundu sitting out in the rain, looking up to the great Kings of before, for guidence. After a short episode, Ywele turns back to the cave, but hears a few last uttered words from Kundu of, "Please don't forget me."
