Her Guardian
Soooo main plot point that I'm compiling is that the main four - Jengo, Mudiwa, Rahim, and Thairu - get messages from beyond by the deceased characters that take them under their wing as their 'charges'.
For Ikeena, however, he cannot communicate with his great-granddaughter outside of sending well-meaning visions or advice through those visions. The reason he takes her underneath his wing is because of her relation to him. He wants to guide her down the path of righteousness, and knows that she's the glue that really keeps the Four together in the end.
I'll also be doing Jengo, Rahim, and Thairu after this!

You are exactly right, Brown! And hey, if Abel can have visions and
can communicate with Zuri, who's to say that the other deceased
characters cannot do the same? Though their power isn't as strong as
Zuri's as they can't fully communicate with them. Even Kayode, who has
probably the strongest power, can only best send Tafari visions of
what's to come. |

This is a really nice concept, Dakota, and who is to say that animals
don't dream of their own family  If humans can, and we do, why
not animals. |
