Dakota, I LOVE you! Yeah, happy endings are annoying. No one's life is a walk in the park and not everyone can be as strong as Nama's Ari. It's nice to see a Queen of a Pride actually fall to the despair for a change, and I call it a much needed change. And her actions will have consequences I am sure. If Kings can go mad, why not the Queens, and with the Queens doing it, there is so much more at stake, and a lot of vulnerability to go around. I would love to dive into this lioness's torn, ravaged mind, but I'd have no idea where to begin. |
Brown - I absolutely agree! I'm even thinking of having Khatiti be a complete deconstruct of Ari just to explore the possibilities of a 'what if' situation. And you're right, Queens don't really make the image of being a strong leader in a crisis (even though Khari, Ikuta, Ari, and etc. have proven otherwise), but you know what I mean? They don't have that reputation as lions backing them up. Besides, Khatiti is on her own - her mate is dead, Khari is gone, and she was really the only one raised to be a leader of the pride. So she's even more vulnerable because no one else in her family has really understood all the training and prep-work she's had to go through to become a leader.
Haha, I'm right there with you, there's so many possibilities to explore here that it's hard to pick a place to start!
